I know this vid is old and I am late to the ballgame watching it. But I have been fishing the Repoman & Late Payment since they came out. I own several (50+) and never had the first one take on water, unless I banged it really hard of rocks, concrete or some other hard surface. I know some will ask how I was able to obtain so many. I managed a tackle shop where I live in VA, on Lake Anna. So before Paycheck stopped production, I bought several. I still have probably a dozen or more still in the package. I have two Bass Mafia Double Barrels, completely full of 100% Repoman baits. As far as customer service, I never had a problem and my customers didn't either. I had a long time friend & customer come into the shop one day and asked me to sell him the best bait I had on the shelves. So I sold him a Repoman in that clear chartreuse with purple nose. He went fishing and came back about 3 hours later and told me it was the best walk the dog bait he had ever fished. But the paint job came off very easy and for the price of the bait, he expected a better product than what he bought. I gave him Bub Tosh's contact info and later that day he called him and told him the problem. Bub never asked for the bait to be sent in, he did however apologize abd 3 days later, my friend had a package delivered to him at the shop. When he came o er to pick it up, not only was there a letter apologizing, but there was 3 baits, a t-shirt and some decals in the box. The letter also told him to keep the one that the paint peeled off of. So he got 4 baits for the price of one and some cool swag to go along with it!! Now to me, that sounds like awesome customer service. We are talking 3000+ miles and it was here in just 3 days. I fish the Repoman just about year around. I catch both bass & striper on them and have not had the first failure. I am fortunate that I have so many Repoman baits, because if you can find one, they are $100 & up for a custom painted one. I have turned down offers up to $150 for a brand new one in the package. My best color was "Baby Blue", they had to quit making that color for some reason that Bub didn't go into detail with me. The best part about them not being produced any longer is, I am the only one that I know of still using them. That is a huge advantage when tournament time rolls around!!!!!! Another great bait from Paycheck is "The One"! This pencil popper style bait will cast a mile and call them up from the depths. I have caught fish that I could see on my Active Target come up from being suspended around 20' over 30+ feet of water!!! I just wanted to share a little positive feedback since this review was a negative one. I am sure folks have had negative experiences with them, but I know there was many people not having problems and was genuinely upset when production ceased!!!!!!!

I have the black red and baby blue bird great lure but not that durable where the sharp hooks seats seem to get caught on it's own body

Caught a 46" muskie on the x rap the natural minnow color with red in it. So cool and had a walleye on right after. Never had so much luck fishing until i bought this lure. You must jerk it then pause it , the fish bite on the pause.

Wondering how this has held up? I checked out the company and they do have a variable speed model, but they do not recommend any of their controllers for trolling motors due to voltage fluctuations causing increased wear on the controller. Has that been an issue at all?

2:20 - You do not want those washers cupping each other when you put them back. You want the concave down sides facing each other.

I like the set up. I think I'll use bicycle brake or gear shift cables and route/ mount them on the exterior. Also use or fab the trolling motor mount out of aluminum.090. An upgrade would be 2 lithium batteries in parallel.

We use it probably a dozen days each year on our small raft.-original review- We got this motor the other day and tested it out. I don't have anything to compare it to, but it seems good to me. It has all the features advertised - the motor housing is metal. We will see how it performs longer term and I will revise this review if needed. Some initial observations:- Good thrust, moves our boat around really well- It comes with a circuit breaker but no switch - so there's no way to kill the motor other than yanking the connection off the battery. I installed an inline switch.- The mount bracket is plastic and I worry it might break- There are a number of plastic parts that I worry about, but the most important ones are metal or some kind of composite

The Ores are very easy to put together, the pump worked beautifully. the seats are a bit hard to sit in after a while (I recommend sitting on the floor). after reading the reviews I was very scared it'd get a hole in it, the material is very strong and durable. The Air valve may need a small Phillips head screwdriver to adjust, other than that, it's well worth the money!(update)I've gone Kayaking in 3 Lakes and 2 rivers totaling about 40 miles. the kayak had two holes and they patched easily and no other problems can't wait for kayaking season this year!

Just grabbed a few of these from ollies. Haven't tried them yet. I need to be in the correct lake for hard baits. Would be nice to see these in action as a review.

You could add a line from one pedal up to the front around to the other pedal and make it a push pull system, with an extra attachment to hook to your foot and make it a one foot control

Hey, This setup you got is awesome! The only question is does the rear of the kayak gets lower when the trolling motor is at max speed?

The sound made when breaking the water, action and at rest portions as well as the hook sizes also important. But the rhythm pulled is the big SECRET!!! I love poppers, but the very old devil horse IS YET TO BE EQUALED - WITH THE RIGHT RHYTHM!!!

John Gann had some nice jigs. I used to tie football head jigs for him when we lived on the same street. That was the only jig he had at that time as his company was new. He passed away several years back I just learned recently. He was a good guy with lots of great stories.
