I am speaking from Bangladesh. Islam has very clear guidelines regarding music and women's voices, which we have to understand based on Islamic rules. First, in Islam, the use of musical instruments that are destructive or incite to sin is considered haram. There is evidence in the hadith that Rasulullah (pbuh)Daaf allowed the use of musical instruments on certain occasions, such as Eid or weddings. However, the use of other musical instruments is prohibited according to most of the jurists. If no haram musical instrument is used in the performance of Nate Rasool or praiseworthy Islamic music and the song evokes love for Allah and the Messenger, then it may be acceptable within the limits of Shari'ah. But if you use a musical instrument in it, it is likely to fall into the level of haram. Secondly, Al-Qur'an also gives guidance about women's voices. Allah says: > "Speak ye not softly, that the sick of heart may be enticed: but speak ye in sober and elegant language." (Surah Ahzaab: 32) By this instruction it is meant that the voice of women should not be used in such a way, which may cause sedition among others. Islamic Shariah provides this provision for women's respect and safety. Therefore, it is very important to adhere to the prescribed boundaries of Shariah while performing Islamic music or Nate Rasool. In this, the use of haram musical instruments and the presentation of women's voices in such a way as to cause fitnah-both should be avoided. May Allah give us all the right understanding.
