really great, bright sound and very nicely improvised, thanks a lot for this inspiration. I regularly play on this tenor and am so happy with it...! 🎷👍

Jay, fantastic track. Hypothetically you have a repertoire of 100 tunes ( I am sure it’s many many more) but how on earth do you remember the chord sequence for all of those tunes. Please post a video on any hints tips to enable us to do this.

Hi Jay, my father loves this song very much and I want to impress him by learning how to play it. I already bought the backing track from your shop, but I couldn't find the transcription for B instruments and I have to less skill to either play it freely or write the notes down. Is there any way I could get it? It would mean the world to me!

I started out on a Baritone sax. Had to sit in books to play it and it took just about all I had but I was at a school If performing arts and all we did was play, practice and perform. I became the best in that band and from there on out didn’t look back. The sound was requisite enough that I played for a jazz band with some of the best trombonists you’ll ever hear but I could be just as loud and crisp as them on my Bari. Sadly the horn belonged to the school and I couldn’t keep it. I had no idea how good it was until I didn’t have it anymore. It was an Armstrong if I remember correctly and just all around a magnificent horn. I don’t think they’re made anymore. I eventually moved to the alto. Sort of the reverse progression but on the alto I was super fast as the keys were so much closer and now with more air than I needed I could hold notes and play passages with very few breathes. Starting on the. Ari greatly benefitted me but I still wouldn’t recommend it.
