Wow I found this video and besides some chills and tears I must say right on time for me. I loved it needed it cause I been thinking of moving to Mexico from Cali I am burnt out and my health could be better with out all the stress of lack of funds being on SSI at a early age. Now in my 60's I am burnt out on this life as we know it to be the normal? The struggle is real here and getting worse. Thank you for your time and sharing your journey with us on here. I needed to see this more than you know. Your beautiful and wishing you a blessed life ahead. Thank you , from Joshua Tree Ca.

I can’t wait for that 55 card question when I proclaim I’m a Senior Citizen! 😂😂how the heck are we considered senior citizens though? I’ll always take the discount for sure! I’m not “officially” retired I too stopped working at 52. I’ll be 55 next year. My days are much quicker than when I was working and I too want to slow down just a bit! What a gorgeous place you’re filming. Love the jump in! I love headstands and floating too! Great video! I love the creative change of scenes. I already know you had fun making this. Yes! I’m all about the birds! Like ALL about them!

I learned so much from shooting this video, like how my camera/phone sucks for far away shots and how hard it is to account and adjust for different lighting situations when shooting outside by a pool with trees. It was beautiful AND challenging so...it was right in my sweet-spot. I think we need banish "senior citizen" and use "elder" instead. Or something like that!

I love this. Especially the part about being thrown a problem and just having to use your own creativity and resources to find a solution. I'm in my mid-60s and SO TIRED of working, trying to survive until I'm 70 to get max Social Security. Or I could get off the couch and move to Mexico. I was contemplating the Lake Chapala area, but since I first started looking, prices have skyrocketed there and there aren't as many choices. I'm exploring alternatives.

Many of the areas in Mexico that were once very affordable are now much more expensive. Sayulita is certainly one of those. I do hear that same of Ajijic. Oaxaca seems to be still somewhat affordable. I hope you get to do it!

As much as I appreciate your fear of scorpions, I don't think that sharing the killing of any creature is truly healthy for anyone. You can be scared but that all creatures should be given reverence. Killing for your safety? Sure. Makes sense. Putting it online, different story. Killing any creature requires stopping in the moment and paying attention to what just happened. You KILLED something. Stop, think, perhaps what killing was indeed YOUR fault. Shower and drain covers? Door sweepers on the bottom? Clean floors? Lack of moisture?

What a beautiful story. Life has mysterious ways to teach us lessons and come wrapped in the box we least expect. Mexico heals you. Mexico is the best medicine for mind, body and soul. Even in Mexico City where I live and have been raised, Mexico teaches you to just go with the flow and to turn off autopilot as you say. We tend to live lighter than you guys, with less baggage and less great expectations… and the fewer expectations you have, the more magical life becomes. I don’t know you, but I’m glad you’ve overcome illness and found happiness in our beautiful country. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Also, your video is not SEO done with rank tag SEO score is poor. In short, SEO optimizes your channel properly, and every video needs to be SEO which will promote your channel and double the video views

Mr Wonderful and his ilk will work you until you drop. Toxic hustle culture has been around for a lot longer than the term, and it literally kills people. Besides, the entire premise is a lie. You are useless to the corporation after 50, period. No same person wants to die behind their desk.

Jen, there IS a difference between time alone out vs. at home, isn't there? I can get alone time just about anytime if I want to go out, but at home is different. I don't know about you, but I find it hard to ask for that time when I need it. I don't want my husband to feel like I'm asking him to leave. So I don't do it really at all. It's his house too. I get it! Introverts dream. I can relate with the people pleasing part too. Yes! Alone is such a peaceful place to be. At least for me too. Your town is beautiful! Ordinary extraordinary is one of my favorites things or I will call them little BIG things! I also love to sit on the floor. I will go to a family gathering and sit on the floor and people will say, here is a chair and I say, no thank you, I prefer it here! That darn should word. I’m also recovering from the “I’m sorry” phrase. Sorry for things not even in my control! I have learned to say, thank you for understanding. Now I say that a lot. It feels so good to pause and not say I’m sorry. Lots of love Kris and thank you for this inspiring video.

I loved everything about this! I started taking myself out (in my house) whenever my husband was away on business trips. The first time I did it for us, he looked at me strangely. But then he realized our date nights in were way better than any date night out because we weren't competing with noisy restaurants, could linger as long as we liked, and he could have 3 martinis if he wanted, because we weren't driving. While we eat home a lot, finding to romanticize it single or as a couple has been great. Thank you for giving it a name.❤
