That last couple of sentences were my favourites of the video. :) Glad to hear it! I'm 42 with 2 teens. A lot of things are difficult in life right now, so it's good to hear it.

43 and my life is chaotic, identity, marriage, sense of belonging, falling in love unexpectedly because of loneliness in life. I'm so glad to have found your video and channel. Thank you💖

Oh, I feel for you and with you. Identity is where I really lost my footing. When you feel like you don't even know who you are anymore it makes everything precarious. I'm so glad you are here and I hope that we can keep discovering ways to support each other and finding our way through turbulent times together.

Kris! This video is so great. I felt like I was sitting with you on your sofa and I loved when you added the clip of you hiking in the woods. I didn’t learn how to do those B rolls until way later. I love that you mentioned your mother-n- law, mine would also be top on my list and this is rare. I chat with so many woman who can’t stand theirs. Same when I turned 40 things got really strange I’m still working on this. I’m going to do the exercise on listing people I admire and why, that’s brilliant. It is truth how our rough times build who we are. I love how you say the prime of your life is right now! Great video.

I SO appreciate your specific feedback. This KZbin creation journey is such a learning experience. I've always felt so lucky to have had a mother-in-law that I adored when so many have a completely different experience. I love that yours is wonderful as well. I appreciate you!

At 46, advice to my 16 year old self, don’t try to be perfect. Just be good enough. People will hate you, people will love you. People will come and go. You are always going to be with you!

I love that. Perfect is the enemy of good. We waste so much time and energy trying to be what we think everyone else thinks we should be and living up to unreasonable standards. Thanks for your insight!

Thanks, Jen! I feel like your videos are like chatting with a friend and I love that. I want to do more creative things as well, but this feels like the community building I envisioned.

Hormone changes did the same to me - only I didn't seem to realise for the next few years! I thought I was going crazy but couldn't tell as I was in the middle of it!

Exactly! This is why I want to tell people about it so that they can recognize it sooner and either get some medical help with it or at the very least understand that they aren't just losing their minds.
