@@cep8214 I haven’t worn them enough to feel any loosening up. I have only worn them for a couple races, where protection was very important. The width of the 14’s will be perfect since you are a 6E. I am only a 3E and the width feels perfect. The length is just a touch long. If I didn’t like the bit of extra length I’d probably insert a bit of memory foam at the heel or in the toes to compensate but never felt the need. The 13 in SG10 was so restrictive that it was painful. My little toe was crunched. If you can easily get a refund for purchasing the wrong size, then it would be worth risking buying 13’s.

Thanks for the feedback. I think I’m going to go with the 14s as you know having foot pain while you’re riding takes all the joy out of it. I can always snug them up with the straps and like you said, put some memory foam in if I need to. I’ve never really looked at the difference between a size 13 and 14 but it’s really minuscule. A size 13 shoe is 11.5625 inches long, while a size 14 shoe is 11.875 inches long. Thanks for the feedback. You’ve been very helpful. Have a great day.

@Hendy711 I didn’t track it but we were told between 8-8.5 miles per lap. The Bronze loop wasn’t crazy technical but enough to get the arms and legs burning. I felt more hammered after a starvation ridge 24hr race than I did after 2 days of bronze, if that gives more perspective.

I wonder how many people missed that corner and did the day before route over the top. I luckily got saved by another rider before I did it but I had a friend do two laps that way and finished 31 st. Very poorly ran event this year.

I would think the goretex would just mean your feet get even more hot and sweaty, most of the time (unless you're always in cold, wet weather)

@aces928 nothing performance wise. Just kept wearing my Alpinestar 7 Drystar during the wet to keep my feet dry, and for trail work.

Dunno. I’m a 13EEE. 13 in Alpinestars is perfect. 13 in SG10 was scrunched bad, couldn’t flatten out toes. Went with a 14 in SG22. The width is perfect, but there is about a 1/4” of extra length than needed.

@@powerturbine6170 lol. I wasnjust thinking about tour post last night. Watched a local kid at raves last night crash a husqy 150 and got ran over and subframe snapped right at upper bolts... so moral of the story is don't use them as aa kicker.

🤷‍♂️ dunno, never really thought about it and don’t pay much attention to those that make it an issue
