It still works, battery capacity is not 100% anymore. Will probably swap out the battery sometime soon.

I'm unhappy with my twin elite pods with six solar panels, the power supply drains within two nights camping and that's in peak summer sunshine and minimal careful power usage monitored. I should have custom built my own power system. This product is a gimmick!

I'm having a similar issue, as well as the Output constantly showing one bar of use even when nothing is plugged into it. And when I unplug it from AC power it won't show watts being used even though I have a freezer plugged into it from time to time that I know uses about 65 watts when it's on. So my issue feels more like a display malfunction combined with an AC input issue. Sadly, I just ordered two more panels.

Obviously, rotating each of the 3-1 at a time every 1-1/2 hours or so would help the battery much much longer. If not opened, the fridge stays cold about 3 hours and the freezers could go even longer. But good test showing all 3 at same time.

@@robertcarlson1404 upon further review I did discover that it sits vertically in front of the battery, underneath the front panel. Doesn't look easy to get to but I'm sure I can handle it. I'm just concerned if that is what I need to replace after all? It seems to accept a charge from the solar input but the green light doesn't indicate where it normally does when you're plugged into the grid to charge? I can't remember if it turned on when I used the solar panels in the past?
@robertcarlson1404 Жыл бұрын
@@jeffreebailey4464 It's not too hard to get the cover off...there are screws on the bottom to remove and the friction clips on the sides that hold the front and rear panels together can be a bit snug. Replacing the actual AC charger unit is pretty easy and fixed my problem right away. The green light does not turn on when charging from solar, though there should be a little solar panel icon that turns on on the display and you can check the charge status using the app.

@@jeffreebailey4464 I believe one side is the MPPT controller and the other side the inverter. Then there is the control panel. All I sent them was a film in which showed the AC outlets did not work. Solar Tip; You can steplessly dim down a bulge and all other hungry electricity consumers with a 5000W dimmer (7, EUR). I run 5 dimmers in parallel on an 850W inverter. Kettle 2.2KW at 150W runs 12 hours a day, so the water is always hot. The room is also nicely heated. 2.5KW washing machine runs in parallel with dimmed to 200...400W. Iron, dishwasher, oven, electric heater, coffee machine, all internal heating are throttled with me. Videos about it on my channel kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3SVoJ-YeKebnpI The inverter stays cool, quiet and the MOSFETs remain intact because extreme current peaks no longer arrive at the inverter. Now every Mini PV Inverter is enough to sell large devices...
