How did you rig throttle and shift? I have an old 2-stroke Mercury 15 that just uses ordinary Morse cables. Is it electronic on the Pro-kicker?

Yes, I know. But he did not take it, and I think this is a waste.
@boatingwithspencer8 күн бұрын
the gutless method is only one method to choose. The advantages and reasons why a person may choose this method are.: 1. less smell, when in Grizzly country. 2. faster, when in Grizzly country and three less weight when you have a very long way to pack the meat and don’t want to take too long cause you’re in Grizzly country. The advantage of less weight means leaving a little behind. If you were not in Grizzly country and if you did not have many kilometres to pack out then I would definitely suggest choosing the traditional quartering method where you take out all of the bones and everything leaving only the guts. Thank you so much for watching and your comment. Take care.

What about the heart and liver? Ribs?
@boatingwithspencer8 күн бұрын
The heart and the liver can be reached and taken without disrupting the gut bag. Meat is trimmed off the ribs but the ribs themselves are left.

what you think this compare to the 2825 Coastal Express ? thx
@boatingwithspencerАй бұрын
The 28 coastal express has long been my favourite but now with this extended roof and easy walk-through to the cabin… I think I’d take the 2725 XRS for the self bailing deck and nicer cabin.

350 hp Yamaha , not 300 as I mistakenly stated. Sorry. This new V6 model replaces their previous 350 V8 model.(discontinued ) Less cylinders, less weight, same horsepower. Way to go Yamaha..

Don't confuse happiness which is a product of the moment, or your circumstances, with joy which is a much deeper condition of the soul. What trail was that Spencer? I think I would like to hike it sometime. Years ago I was given your Great Grandfathers wood working tools, broad axe, broad axe hatchet, adze, axe and a few others, the exact tools that the cabin builder would have used.
@boatingwithspencerАй бұрын
Well, said Nathan. Thank you. That trail is just off my mom‘s property. It is between the lake and the highway just north of Schroeder Creek. (Half way down the hill) very cool about great grandpa‘s woodworking tools. I’d love to see them someday. I’m glad they’re in good hands. Take care
@nathanadrian7797Ай бұрын
@@boatingwithspencer I wonder if it continues above the highway? There was no road there when Bob Orr first homesteaded there back around 1955. You and I should do a little exploring around here, there are several trails I would like to check out.

Where I’m from if you can’t see through the rib cage, you can be fined. That’s wanton waste. Left all that rib meat/burger meat. Otherwise good video, but pretty wasteful

I understand why it was done but HOW it was done.. Not a hunter myself but you had a clear window for follow up shot but no, you/they let it suffer for minutes and kind of make a spectacle out of it? No, no animal deserves that - if its a danger of course take the correct action but why the hell did you let it swim off crippled? That is inhuman and you do not have the right to carry any weapon of any form in my opinion. Every tribe knew and knows this but you are very far back in evolution it seems dear shooter.

As a long term hunter of animals, I am disappointed that they did not do a follow up shot straight away to have feelings for the bear. I would be sad if I also fired a crappy first shot that was nowhere near vital organs to dispatch the animal. Was the rifle of a large enough calibre for such a large animal? Please let me know what the calibre of the rifle was. Anyway in the end people have to be safe.

This is a good example of the difference between living in the fringe verses civilization. It is my belief that society in the "civilized" world are out of touch with real life, and don't have the wisdom to understand the nature of clear and present reality. Thanks for posting.
