It could be more sense to have Warhammer colab if we going off from spookyness. And you can be sure that 40k or fantasy WH could be good. But why Destiny? I just don't understand.

Black prior will always be the most original hero for me. Sohei being second most original. Black prior is the only hero that have a second option besides dodge against bashes.

I reinstalled For Honor; I hadn’t played since two months after the Sohei came out. I was really looking forward to the Halloween event. How could they top a Japanese-themed PVE dungeon mode with a final boss or a Chinese-themed Raid? Considering it was the Vikings' season, and they’re quite popular within the community, I was just hoping for an event worthy of that faction. To my surprise, it was a collaboration with Destiny, a couple of ugly, overpriced skins for knight characters, and a Dominion mode with a boss in the church. I don’t know why I had so much faith in a team that, while doing what they can, doesn’t know what they want. I’ll keep playing for a couple more weeks just to complete the drip for some characters-after all, that was always the endgame for this game. 😔😢

The 1 good thing about this event is that it finally made me take a break from For Honor.

For honor trying to copy fortnite but not understanding why fortnite is so successful.

I'm okay with collaborations as long as they fit thematically with For Honor's aesthetic. Witcher, Assassin's Creed, Elder Scrolls, Balder's Gate, Dragon Age, Kingdom Come, Prince of Persia all would work well in For Honor. I don't even like the Vikings that much, but they still deserved a Yokai Nightmare or Theater of Bones style event.

“The worse collab” Bro, it’s not like there has been many Anyways, if it’s to keep the game alive, at least I hope the next collab is more fantasy-medieval in general; I can see The Witcher, Ghost of Tsushima or even God of War as possible themes despite not liking the idea or even more AC stuff with maybe one assassin for each faction (Eivor viking skin, the new AC gal for samurai and edward and bayek for the outlanders could fit)

The event itself is good,it shows that ubi cares about this game more than other crappy games and the design of the game mode and weapons were good imo,but i gotta agree even tho both my mains got the coolest skins ever,it should have been vikings honor to get those (but you cant change the fact that it was actually a viking event because you can see the viking fashion and runes on destiny minions if you look closely)

They definitely should’ve dropped a Halloween event instead of this but this definitely isn’t the worse thing they could’ve done it easily could’ve been rainbow six siege skins the destiny armor sets are a bit futuristic especially saint-14 definitely felt like they could’ve done two destiny Viking skins or at least one Viking one wu Lin

I really hope this season is just a low point in the overall year. This season had a nice buildup with the lore orders and Gudmundr story. It felt somewhat cohesive to what the other two seasons were, thematically based around the faction's values whilst also building up on existing periods in the lore. But the event was just not it for me, the pricing/quality ratio of the skins in respect to Ezio turned me away from them. They look cool to me but still feel out of place, if they had been translated more into For Honor's design aesthetic then maybe I would have appreciated them more. If they are to do more collabs, I for one hope that they narrow it down to the game's aesthetic and themes. If the IP is futuristic or flashy, tone it down, if you could translate them into being a For Honor Rendition of the character, even better. I wouldn't mind a Norse Kratos skin for example, his base design isn't necessarily out of the realm of possibility in the for honor universe but still has some flair to it. The Chosen Undead or Ashen one could be interesting. Jin Sakai would fit right in as is. And if they are to be priced at such a high value, they should get the Ezio treatment, new voice Lines, adjusted animations and custom tailored ones for specific cases.

Thank god ubisoft heard our pleads for decent viking fashion and decided that durning the time of a viking themed season we would be getting 2 collaboration knight skins. Very cool.

As a destiny survivor, I love the skins. Although the event itself wasn't as good as the others we've had. It's still good, but the last Halloween event was something else.

I’ve played the game since launch. I used to think that after all these years some characters destroyed the game until I figured that every character is worth learning due to the fact that they all have their flaws and also their unique ability to fit every playstyle. 2024 got back into the game about a month ago after like a years break. I kinda enjoy the game more than ever now. All characters are great and the game is blooming now with both veterans and new players. The toxicity is at a minimum (at least in my case) and it’s actually very balanced. I’m just happy that my favourite game is still as adrenaline fuelled and epic and cared for. Plus I love the community. My worst enemy’s in the game are some of the most skilled and awesome players ever. After almost 8 years, there is only one thing to say about For honor and all of you people playing it! I love you guys❤️

People need to stop using the words buff or debuff or OP in For Honor 😂 You mean REWORK of their kit, there are few ways to guaranteed "buff" a hero beyond extra damage, extra health, adding extra properties like unblockable, hyper armour, undodgable etc. Like if I say "buff nuxia" I do NOT mean give her more damage and hyper armour, I mean rework her kit so shes not a singular 50/50 gimmick.
