I did it, and it's really horrible to build. First, thanks for the initiative-the video rendering looks very nice, but that's about it. - The structure is not stable at all, and the different parts don’t hold together well. - The instructions are inconsistent. I hope this is just the unedited exported version that's bugged; otherwise, it's really poorly made. The assembly is extremely fragile because it requires putting pieces together in an illogical order. It would be much easier to build the parts separately and then assemble them rather than following the given instructions. - The turtle's cheek is impossible to attach (page 183); I’ll have to use glue. - The motor with batteries is missing from the list, so I had to buy another one separately. - The shell and the sticks holding the turtle don’t stay in place. - There are way too many extra pieces, but maybe that’s my mistake.

This trick is used in the ninjago mech sets (in the 70 - 120$ USD ish range) in their feet to provide grip
@DOGSDOGGER2 күн бұрын
I've been using tires as feet for my dioramas and it is a great way to raise the base up off the table a tiny amount and give that grippy feel that makes it feel more "legit" on a tabletop
@sablesalt2 күн бұрын
The issue here is they get closer as they move more back and forward yet their wheels only move on one axis, friction just decrease the problem but doesn't solve it.
@sablesalt2 күн бұрын
Instead of using a liftarm frame that swivels try a stationary one with pistons that move them back and forward to eliminate the side to side movement entirely.
