Hey! They can absolutely be both needs and wants. Some people have future annual bills as sinking funds and those are typically needs. Yes, hobbies absolutely could fall under sinking funds as well. 😃

I''ll probably use a lot of them in my cash stuffing this week. I get paid today and haven't made it to the bank just yet so I'm going to use this cash for my cash stuffing and then balance when I deposit the remainder in my account. :D

My best friend and I fly out from Alberta to Victoria on the 18th for a five days. The reason behind the trip is sad (funeral) but we are looking forward to exploring the island more while we are out there. We spent a week out there last September as an early 40th birthday trip for myself, with my mom and best friend and I. In the Penticton, if you are heading towards Oliver, check out The District wine village. They have several different smaller wineries, and possibly a beer distillery. It is absolutely stunning. We were there in March, so it wasn't so magnificent, but the summer time photos look amazing.

I’d suggest starting out with making a budget and getting a feel for areas where you’re spending. A good start is either writing down every expense you make over the next month or review all your bank statements for the last 3 months to really get a handle on it. It’s totally overwhelming at first figuring out your categories. Just know that it takes time and you can adjust as you go. You’ve got this!

Don't rub alcohol. Use nail polish remover. It's better and faster. Then, apply (or rub) some alcohol. And that's all.
