@@orthophonix wow, for some reason I expected something wilder, maybe that's the sound of twelve string... Anyways, thanks a lot, will try to learn it soon.

I hung out with Jack for a couple years in Philly at "Hey Dave" guitar store just off of South Street. He made it look so easy. Jack would stop in to hang out with other fingerstyle guitarists, like David A. Pearson (the store's owner) and Larry D. Brown (Grey Reverend). They'd play the handmade guitars and fill the room with unbelievable music. What a beautiful thing to behold. Jack, you are missed!

No fancy studio mixing needed here, just pure beauty in its natural state.

just found this video completely unprompted 9 years later. mark was married to my grandmother, and he passed when i was about 11-12, i have some of his ashes, a necklace, and guitar pick from him. i’m grateful that he became a part of my family and that i was able to love him. i haven’t listened to his music in a long time ❤

This guy is my favorite country blues musician. Love everything about him--playing, attitude, teaching style, humility. I wish he was still giving lessons. I can't imagine studying with someone this good.
