FYI, this washer has thread lock on the bolt in the drum. I found out the hard way and broke the bolt. Now I have to figure out how to get it out.

Thank you for the video! Had to replace the rear roller. I knew nothing about this repair before watching your video. Roller cost me $60 dollars. Just saved close to a grand by doing it myself. Easy to disassemble on your own though it's a two person job putting it all back together especially holding the drum in there.

Thanks so much for this video. Got charged an 80 trip fee to be quoted 390 to replace the knob and timer. Your video helped me do it myself in less than 30 minutes and it only cost me 96 bucks 🙌🏽

This video saved the cost of a service call which would have been a least a couple of hundred dollars not including the part....my wife was happy that she didn't even hear a curse word. The over under was 20...😅

Heated blankets work in similar principles. Inside of heated blankets, there are electric coils inside of the heated blanket. When the power button is pressed, voltage is sent to a thermostat, then to a heating element to heat the blanket. After that, the voltage gets cut off to the thermostat to prevent overheating. Some models have sensors, or a timer to prevent overheating. If it overheats by 10 degrees, the thermostat, sensors, or timer has failed, and will need to be replaced. btw i added this in because you forgot to make a video about the heated blanket i think

Tech came out and replaced the fabric softener dispenser because it was leaking, then a couple of days later it was still leaking, tech came back and couldnt figure out the leak so he blamed the water pressure. I called another company and this tech said there is nothing he can do because he has seen this leak many times and called it "mistery leak", and while showing me how water fills the fabric softener reservoir he broke the top part lol still mad about this issue, washer is in his 4th year and didnt have this problem until a couple of months ago...

I removed the drain hose from the bottom entry (its exposed by a big opening) by tilting the washer back, I was able to unclip the hose from the bottom using my hand. I feel tearing your washing machine apart is completely unnecessary.

One recommendation. Make sure the refrigerator is on. Test amp draw - normal draw when compressor running is between 100-300 watts. My 2 door GE runs at 225W. Manually cycle defrost cycle. Use screwdriver to rotate manually the timer on the defrost timer. It is usually behind a panel in refrig area at the top near the temperature dials. Rotate the manual timer until you hear it click hard. That is the defrost circuit being powered on. The compressor will turn off too. The amp draw will jump up to 600-700 watts for roughly 10-15 minutes. If you see that your element is working. Also the temp in the freezer will increase to the 30 deg range after the 12-15 minutes of the element being on. This allows you to validate element working without taking it out. Good luck!
