Good video. Wish you could have gotten your hands on the new Xpro for a more truly apples to apples comparison. The more lightweight compact design of the paslode makes it a winner to me though. If clipped head nails are allowed by code in your area I would definitely go for 30 over 21. The plastic collation comes back and hits me in the face when I have to use a 21 degree gun.

I've had one of these for a couple years and I like it but I always go back to my 18v cause there's 1 major design flaw on this 12v version.... The fwd/rev button is literally right in the spot where your finger goes when u pull the trigger and for me it drives me nuts cause every time I go to use it I hit the trigger and it pushes the reverse button into the lock position. It's a small thing but very annoying and could easily be fixed by Milwaukee. This is not in any way a dig at Milwaukee either I LOVE the brand it's all I've used for over 10 years

I have a Milwaukee 30 degree sitting in a box right now trying to decide about the Paslode. The weight difference alone is significant enough to justify the $150 more. My concern is the carbon monoxide emissions from the fuel cell on the Paslode as I would be using it exclusively inside for renovations. Wondering how strong the odor is when using it inside. Safety instructions say a "well ventilated area", but in Northeast winter I do not think the homeowners would like the windows left open to use a tool. So if you have used it inside how bad is the gas odor?

Hey mate, I bumped to one of the paslode framing nailer for $200 at lowes, the other day, but I didn't get it. just thinking about $15 each fuel every 600 nails. (I buy in bulk (4,000 nails per boxes) almost like $75 bucks in just fuel. i like milwaukee, but it does require servicing after a while. On the other hand, the dewalt gun it just keeps going and going as long as you have batteries and nails. I did have a small issue at one point. (stopped sinking nails) I took it apart and cleaned it, and that was it. shoots nails like if it was new again. But in all seriousness, I prefer pneumatics if I am machine gunning all day. I use cordless for small projects. (Like 100 nails or so)

I replaced my suspension rods and it didn't fix it.. looks like the ones I got on Amazon are the same as the ones that were already on it(based off colors of everything). Bought this washer used, im assuming previous owner replaced them. Going to give this a try and I'll report back in a few days. If this don't do it, I may drill and drain the balance ring on top as suggested by others when it's not the suspension rods..

The stuff really is amazing. If you touch it with your bare fingers you can feel it drying your skin out immediately. One thing I would add - It absorbs oil IF the first liquid that it touches is oil. Any water present will render it useless. If it touches water first, it will not absorb oil. Just make sure the area is completely dry before you apply it.

it's a surprised but the most expensive one won, Ryobi's HP single mode impact is their current fastest impact and with an edge battery I'm sure it holds its own despite being many years older than most current flagship impacts from the trade brands, in fact a video was done recently comparing lots of impacts and Ryobi was one of the oldest if not the oldest impact in the video but it wasn't the slowest or the biggest, very good stuff, not to mention in a couple of the tests it was faster than the Gen 4 Milwaukee, albeit drilling a hole into wood and not a screw, but a win is a win. makes me feel more comfortable knowing the tool is actually comparable to the top brands and not completely overshadowed, the Milwaukee would've done better but was equipped with a standard battery to keep it fair, but fair it was and it lost, with a forge battery it is much, much quicker. but then it costs more than 2 Ryobi impacts to buy the battery itself without the tool, so at some point people need to acknowledge for the cost of the tool and the batteries plus the extensive line of niche crafts and gardening tools Ryobi is a really good brand. in the UK the stuff is definitely overpriced but still okay.

Despite knowing Milwaukee is probably the best, I spent ~$500 in total for a ryobi impact driver, hammer drill, multitool and like 4 batteries compared to the 2 tools MAYBE I could get from Milwaukee lol. Sometimes it's best to swallow the pride and just get what's practical, I use these tools only a few times a month so not exactly professional territory to see the difference between the brands

Why do you not have a master breaker interlock that won't allow you to turn on your generator when your main is on? This is so dangerous for any lineman that might be out working on the lines incase someone doesn't do it correctly.

powering directly from solar would be more efficient, wouldn't it ?
@a647385 ай бұрын
Powering directly from solar wastes a lot of energy, you will need a LOT of more solar power for it to work early in the day and late in the day. When you combine it with a battery you can spread out the load for a whole day and night (and run it at night also). You never run things directly from solar power because it is a waste and impractical as you can only run it during the day.
@GeoffsGadgets5 ай бұрын
I was just seeing how long my battery would power the ac unit. But totally agree, a combination of power coming straight from the panel array would be helpful.
@my_channel_445 ай бұрын
If you only need cooling when the panels have enough daylight AND the unit is an EG4 mini-split model meant to run directly from solar, then yes, it makes sense.
@elquienelquien18905 ай бұрын

If your lights inside trailer are 12v, then you probably have a "converter" in the trailer that converts the shorepower back into 12v and would also keep the original factory installed 12v battery charged. I doubt the interior lights are 120v, unless you have changed them. Converter is just another of the often forgotten "phantom" loads.
@pstoneking34188 ай бұрын
You might consider using as short as dropcord as you can from your solar generator to your camper. You should see a significant increase in your output voltage which will reduce the current draw from your solar generator.😂
