it's a surprised but the most expensive one won, Ryobi's HP single mode impact is their current fastest impact and with an edge battery I'm sure it holds its own despite being many years older than most current flagship impacts from the trade brands, in fact a video was done recently comparing lots of impacts and Ryobi was one of the oldest if not the oldest impact in the video but it wasn't the slowest or the biggest, very good stuff, not to mention in a couple of the tests it was faster than the Gen 4 Milwaukee, albeit drilling a hole into wood and not a screw, but a win is a win. makes me feel more comfortable knowing the tool is actually comparable to the top brands and not completely overshadowed, the Milwaukee would've done better but was equipped with a standard battery to keep it fair, but fair it was and it lost, with a forge battery it is much, much quicker. but then it costs more than 2 Ryobi impacts to buy the battery itself without the tool, so at some point people need to acknowledge for the cost of the tool and the batteries plus the extensive line of niche crafts and gardening tools Ryobi is a really good brand. in the UK the stuff is definitely overpriced but still okay.

Despite knowing Milwaukee is probably the best, I spent ~$500 in total for a ryobi impact driver, hammer drill, multitool and like 4 batteries compared to the 2 tools MAYBE I could get from Milwaukee lol. Sometimes it's best to swallow the pride and just get what's practical, I use these tools only a few times a month so not exactly professional territory to see the difference between the brands
