Alexander's school and the Alleyne were the two at the bottom of the list of high school choices,Queens and King's College were the top, Foundation and St. Michael's came next followed by Alexander's and the Alleyn School.

Some parts of Port of Spain looks good and some parts look horrible 😢
@paul-lq5nw5 күн бұрын
Every Caribbean city capital you can say that some more horrible and disorganized but why target Trinidad when its one of the most developed and modern capital in the Caribbean???
@IanMarks-i7s5 күн бұрын
What part of Port of Spian in this video looks horrible, we probably watched separate videos or you are trying to start a conversation. Im always shocked wherever i see the development in Trinidad it's alway so ahead of other Caribbean countries.
@ianbynoe65155 күн бұрын
@@IanMarks-i7s , I said what I said and l am not changing my thoughts. Go back and look at the video again and don't be gullible. Yes, there are modern develop parts but there are also mediocrity. Don't forget Trinidad use to be one of the richest countries in Western hemisphere and probably in the world, so her development must be on par with the developed countries. I won't take anything less. We can't compare Trinidad capital to other Caribbean, African or Latin America countries but to first world countries and it is not a first world rated capital. That's the reality we have and we have accept it. Truth be told. 😥😔😟🙁😞😿

That's in every country. Port of Spain looks fabulous. It's one of the most developed Caribbean cities.

@@ianbynoe6515That was only for a few years in the early 1980s. We never had a consistently growing economy in our entire history. From 1983 to 1994 the economy shrank to half its size. No real growth after 2008.

The Americans built the Churchill Roosevelt highway to connect the naval base in Chagaramas to wallerfield. The Americans had an air base in Wallerfield. Columns still stand at the entrance to the air base. Churchill 'gave' Roosevelt land for the bases. Hence the name. Entire villages were displaced by those land deals. And others developed.😅
