Chapman Lane brings back some good memories as my mother lived there. Has changed significantly since I left there for the UK in the 1950s.

@D & J Drives Hi D, FYI : Fontabelle was the coast road prior to the construction of the as it was called ,"Deep Water Harbour", in 1961. All those buildings on the Western side - with Cricket Legends, The Advocate News , Nation Newspaper, Chefette Head Office Fontabelle etc. - would have been BEACH houses, and as a child, I distinctly recall some of those houses still had mangrove type plants in their yards. Nice work guys!

I appreciate you for showing the residential neighbourhoods of Bridgetown. Many people may not realise that these areas are very much part of the City of Bridgetown, and have their own "vibe", their own energy and should be highlighted as any other part of the country as you've done quite well in this video.

Hi!! And blessings for the ability you are providing people like us, who have been aboard, for so many years, the opportunity to view the sites of Barbados. Trust me it's been a heart warming delight. Also very informative. I would appreciate seeing my old school route again which was from Forde's Road,Clapham, to Arthur Sobers primary school, via Rendezvous Hill, through Rockley Road, and on to Dayrells Road. It really was and is always a good memory for me. Thanks again for you exceptional calming tutorials, and informative pleasant narrations. God Bless ❤

I appreciate all you’ve said about these areas. The negative tends to be portrayed about these areas which I grew up around have so many positive memories for me. Incidentally, my husband went to college in Trinidad and Tobago and loved it there. He considers T&T a second home. We are both Bajan and love this video seeing our old stomping grounds.

Thanks for taking me on a tour of my childhood neighborhood. I used to live in Reed St., and Chapman Lane. All the places you showed took me back to 50 + years ago. Especially Chapman Lane and the Orleans.

Put your camera on a swivel mount you won't need to turn the vehicle every time to show a side road or object .
