This is literally all I buy Spider-man games for. You could scrap the story, the collectables, the plot, all of it... as long as the swinging is there. And slick graphics, for bonus points.

I sick of ppl not understanding how swing really works. You would in no way shape or form be able to change direction of momentum mid swing unless you shot out another one to help. But when mfs swing in the game they hold the triggers and then keep using the left stick to move left right. Do not use the left stick while swinging and watch how when you get good at that the web swinging will be 10/10. Play any vr spiderman game and youll see you cant change momentum mid swing. Why do you think spiderman is a nerd? He understands physics and angles of travel.

They best way to understand this is... Notice how you go forward yet your web line is damn near always sideways. That's not how it would work. Even with 0 swing assist. The game still makes you fly forward in the direction your looking even if realistically, the web should've swong you sideways into the fucking building

I wish you couldn’t change direction or momentum in air,you should be forced to use physically accurate swinging from the angle, length and anchor point of the web to your initial trajectory.

What are your graphic settings and swing assist settings?

For this video the swing assist was 0. And the graphics are on performance mode.

Hold Circle + the direction you want to spin on the analog stick. To do the full spin arround the object needs to be an antenna, or a lightpole, or a very thin building.

Good concept and fun captions! Side note : I suggest you implement realistic swinging directions if you do this series again. It's kinda weird seeing the left hand web up a building that's also on the left only for you to push the thumbstick to the right to avoid collision. It was fun though, don't get me wrong. I subbed

So the first 3d Spiderman game from back on 2000 got is accurate. He has limited web fluid, only swings when he cannot traverse on foot, relies a lot on crawling around, is a lot more stealthier, and makes a lot of mistakes.

Unnecessary air stunts were breaking the flow of swinging.. It looks garbage.. The player should maintain his body movement in the mid air and look carefully where he was going. It looks so unrealistic when spidy suddenly changes his path.. Looks like someone controlling the whole environment from behind. Watch Tasm2 movie's first swing scene.. Try to swing like that.
