Lower levels of swing assist have a slower starting swing speed but actually allow you to go faster than swing assist 10 if you are somewhat good at the game. Swing assist level 1 is optimal for speed because it keeps still keeps you from hitting the ground, meaning that you can use the air dodge uncapped speed most efficiently. Especially with Miles

yeah I always have mine at one it's like a happy medium. I don't have to sacrifice speed but still keeps that same realism

Its so fun when you get into a great rhythm on 0 you are absolutely zooming through New York and its all your skill keeping you going. Very satisfying.

I think as soon as I get a PS5 and get the game, I'll turn the swing assist down until I really notice that my character has weight and is tied to the laws of physics, but I probably won't put it all the way down.

From my personal experience, i think Swing Assist at 0 is kinda inconsistent, sometimes if you shoot the web you cant chose wich hand you use, and it is not always that Spider-Man shoots his web at the nearest building, meaning that sometimes you will hit the floor and sometimes you wont. I think if you just want the physics without having to concern with that inconsistent aspect, then 1 is the best setting, since you wont hit the ground but will have your swinging more affected by physics. I personally prefere higher values, since that means more speed, and i really enjoy the speed.

@@ed_pontes well you have to build up the speed yourself assist at 0 doesn't slow you down but you have to make yourself go fast and with the fact that we can touch the ground makes the low swings super satisfying when you manage to pull one off without going too low and detach (and honestly can't go back to using assist even at 1 because the ground barrier throws me off

As an xbox fan, I'am pretty sure xbox turned to a shit show compared to Playstation.
