I am putting my meet under broiler for a half hour before pressure cooking. Get the milar reaction, caramelized the fat cap nicely, it works great, no one has figured out my secret handed down from generations. The American Irish Style roast. Corned beef isn't a thing in Ireland, it's American Irish thing, the meat is from the Polish. They would fill barrels of salt water after filling it with brisket for preservation. Making the meat transportable. We still get corned beef from other countries but it's really expensive.

After watching this video several times I was excited to try this recipe as I have the exact same cooker and I had a lovely 4 pound corned beef for a dinner party. I have used my mother's old stovetop pressure cooker for decades and had a tinge of concern over the amount of water and the 90 minutes recommended. I should have trusted my concerns. After 90 minutes and the one hour cool down had elapsed I opened my cooker to find my brisket was almost completely shredded. I used a large slotted spoon to scoop out some of the shredded meat to taste it. Far from what I expected, what came out of my cooker was soft, tasteless, mushy beef that might have been welcome fare at an old folks home where they still use salt shakers.

Great video. Can’t wait to try your recipe. Can you clarify how long did you marinate the chicken for in salt brine? How much salt was used in the brine? Did you rinse the chicken after? Can you marinate in beer instead? Thank you.

I Poke my turkey so the flavor goes into the meat just NOT only on the outside of the skin. I also add butter chunk into it. ALSO I add sour orange, OH what a taste it gives it. The mash garlic i use along with the sour orange gives it such a taste ,that you have never ever had before.

A little tip for people who are single, love cake and don’t want to (or can’t) use all the cake mix from a box at once: check the box for how many eggs the mix requires and invest in a small scale. If the mix requires three eggs, divide the mix in three equal parts, store each unused third in an adequately sized ziplock bag. Write how much oil, milk, water etc you need to add (for example 1/3 cup of oil, 1/3rd cup of water). If the mix requires 4 eggs, either divide into 2 or divide into 4… etc. And if the box tells you to use oil (or melted butter) you won’t need a standmixer. A handheld electric whisk or even an old-fashioned hand whisk work fine. My daughter and me love cake… but we can’t eat a full-sized one between the both of us. We still want to treat ourselves and some times microwave oven mug cakes just don’t cut it. Heating an entire oven for a tiny cake seems like such a waste and in Summer it heats up the house more than we’d like (we live in Europe, no air conditioning). Small size rice cooker cake is the way to go. Another little tip: if your rice cooker is the old-fashioned type that doesn’t have a non stick inner pot, line it with baking parchment to cook your cake. To ‘stick’ it into place, use a bit of cooking spray. To make it fit as perfectly as possible, crinkle up the paper as much as you can and flatten it out again. It’ll be easier to fold and fit into that inner pot.

Hello, great video and we are excited we have the exact same waffle iron! What’s your feeling on how good it works? I know they are expensive and sturdy. And any tips if potentially using gluten free flour? Any changes to the recipe? We tried it one time and it kinda burnt the waffles on level 3 like you said. Thanks up front for your help!

Great video! Thank you so much for explaining the burger press. I thought it’s sole purpose was smf or shaping burgers. I had no idea it stores and saves the burgers and you can just break them off as you need them. The store and save and easy grab and go access of the burgers has me officially ready to buy that thing! I always thought that mold was overpriced as a press but now that I know the other features I am more okay with paying the price for one of these.

Hi Robert, I have ordered the pressure cooker. Question: do you maintain 280 on your induction cooker throughout the 7min or do you lower the temperature . As a little concern about overpressuring the pot . I’m using induction cooker as well. Should I reduce it lower to 60-140? Or I just maintain 280 all the way for 7min after it’s sealed
@RobertBogetti
@RobertBogetti Жыл бұрын
You will want to try to keep the oil around 350 F to 375 F with 325 F min to 375 F max. You will have to check what temperature you need on your induction burner to keep the oil at the temperature before adding chicken. For my setup, the induction burner at 280 F made my oil go to 375 F. You may want to start off by cooking fewer pieces at a time, that will minimize the steam and pressure and go for 325 F min to 350 F oil instead of 375 F. Thanks for watching!
