This is a great way to perfectly cook a turkey breast ahead of time and then simply reheat and crisp in an air fryer.

You only need to sous vide it at 145 degrees. It will be fully pasteurized and fully cooked. 165 is only if cooked in an oven .

Sous vide can be a great method of cooking for items like steaks, pork chops, chicken and turkey breasts. I just talked to someone today that will be using their sous vide stick to keep warm their Thanksgiving side dishes while the rest of the items are being cooked since those items will occupy all available oven and cooktop space. The bag trick is good to know. I always thought you had to use a vacuum sealed bag.

I do prefer to use vacuum sealed bags if I can because they are usually thicker but any freezer bag will do in a pinch. Thanks for watching!
