One of the hardest parts about AP Bio for me is understanding the processes and the AP daily videos make it very confusing to understand. However, your videos give me a new understanding and confidence in taking my AP Bio tests, and later my AP Bio exam!

For 1ATP production,how many protons are required to go through the channel?

It's not a direct, specific ratio like you'd find in a chemical equation. This is a cellular process, with lots of variables. That being said, the approximate ratio is 4 protons/1 ATP. Check out my tutorial about chemiosmosis and the ETC on learn-biology.com. It'll really help you understand the process. Also, it'll help you learn everything else in AP Bio. Good luck!

Do we need to know the names of every step in the citric acid cycle??? I only memorised that acetyl coa binds with oxaloacytate(4 carbon) to form citrate. Then the 2 carbons that were added change into co2. And in this step all the original glucose is lost. And 3 NADH and 1 FADH2 IS formed and 1 atp. Oxaloacetate is recycled. So total 4 co2 6 NADH 2 FADH2 2 atp is formed. Is this enough?

Hi Faze. For most AP Bio classes (and the exam) you only need to know the inputs and outputs (not the intermediates). Check out my tutorial about Krebs on learn-biology.com. It'll really help you understand the process. Also, it'll help you learn *everything* else in AP Bio. Good luck!

Hi thank you so much but i had a question regarding the question of the inhibitor of ATP synthesis when the proton gradient is not formed does that mean that the hydrogen will stay in the stroma and that is the reason why NADP+ reduction wont slow down ? Also the mentioning of RuBiCo acting as an oxygenase does that mean that i should study C4 and CAM plants too for the Ap bio exam?...Thank u so much again for these videos
