I get the frustration, and I want to clarify what’s actually changing with Power Core permission levels and Universal Tokens. First off-basic tuning remains free. If you’re an enthusiast using a Power Vision device for flashing and basic tuning, you still have access to C3 calibration editing at the Basic User Level Permission with no additional cost. That hasn’t changed. Every Power Vision device still also comes with one free flash license, that has not changed. What has changed is the introduction of Pro User Level Permissions, which give access to advanced calibration items that were previously unavailable to the public. This change is designed for professional tuners, custom builders, and developers who need a deeper level of control over multiple applications. Instead of requiring a fixed-cost software license, Universal Tokens now allow users to unlock only the advanced features that pertain to what they're tuning-whether it's a single bike, a group of applications, or across multiple brands. Additionally, this change aligns with emissions compliance regulations, ensuring tuning access is structured responsibly while still giving individual riders and shops the tools they can use. If you're a regular user, nothing changes-you can still flash your ECU and make the same tuning adjustments you've always had access to. If you're a custom tuner or performance shop, this system offers more flexibility than ever before, letting you tailor your tuning access rather than being locked into an all-or-nothing package. We ordered the stage 4 kit and the injectors you showing up here in a video which you say would be included in the stage4 kit are Officially on the Dyno Jet page not included so why are you saying that here in the video? The ABS Bleed feature in Power Vision 4 doesn’t replace manual bleeding-it helps remove air trapped in the ABS pump and solenoid valves, which a standard manual bleed can’t always clear. You’ll still need to perform a manual bleed first by opening the bleeder valve and flushing fluid through the system. Once that’s done, PV4 runs an automated routine that cycles the ABS pump and solenoid valves to push out any remaining air inside the ABS module. After that, another manual bleed is required to ensure everything is fully purged. The video focuses on the automated process, so the manual bleed wasn’t shown on camera, but it’s still part of the full procedure. Hope that clears things up!

Can you add the target tune module with the bigger o2 sensors with the PV4 Bluetooth module? I have the Vance and Hines big radius 2 into 2 pipes and they already have the 18mm bungs with 12mm adapters and from what I’m hearing the adapter don’t allow the o2 sensor to go deep enough in the pipe. I’d love to add the target tune module with 18mm o2 sensors to my bike and HOPEFULLY get my fuel economy back!!

It lets them quickly unlock specialized features on-the-fly, without phone support or paying for capabilities they’ll never use. So while a single-rider may never need extra tokens, a busy shop can grab what they need, when they need it, and keep customer bikes rolling out faster. We’re aiming to give everyone flexibility-whether you’re just doing simple tunes or running a high-volume performance shop.

We know the token system isn’t for everyone. Our goal is to offer advanced features and licensing options without forcing all riders to pay for capabilities they might never use-especially busy shops that need specialized tools and faster turnaround. That said, basic functionality remains included at no extra cost, so you can still get a solid tune even if you’re not a fan of tokens.

What about activating cruise control? I have a junky FP3 and I can activate my cruise control inside the app but I’m looking to get the PV4 cause I’ve heard they are better. But I want to still be able to use my cruise control without having to worry about the tuner shutting it off

@@Jeffmd2020 Funny you should say that now as I’m currently editing a video about the new Harley ADaPT feature on the PV4. It stands for Activations Diagnostics and Programming Tuning and it has the ability to enable cruise control on bikes that don’t natively come with the ability from the factory. That among other things like activating fans sooner or later and adjusting EEPROM settings. Video will be out soon after the upcoming ABS Bleed feature also available.

@ that right there is a sign from the Harley gods!! lol I’ve had so much trouble with this FP3 with it not connecting to my phone or taking forever to connect, it won’t load my basic factory tune back in the bike so I was dead set on going with the PV4 then i remembered my cruise control setting in the FP3 so I was looking at the FP4 but now that it’s available on the PV4 I’ll definitely be going with it! If I order a PV4 tonight will it already have these features on it after I do the update?

@ The feature is already live on iOS, there was a server bug reported a couple days ago that the boys are working on now, but it should be fixed by end of week from the sounds of it. Android release is tentative as of now, truth is we’ve got a lot of new exciting things coming very soon that unfortunately take priority over one device feature.

@ I’m on IOS so I’m good lol. What about customs tunes from you guys? My FP3 tune was horrible and made my bike run like shit but the app always failed to send them my ECU data to build me a custom tune. Do yall offer that kind of service also?

Bought mine thru Harley and it did not come with tunes included. When I connecting it to the PC the computer is not recognizing the device. In addition to that it came without the mount. So paying $700 for a device that comes with no tunes, no brackets and it’s not connecting to the pc, not the best experience.

@@alejandroguerrero9202 Could you be more specific? Harley themselves aren’t one of our distributors or dealers, was it a dealership? The PV3 is also priced at $479, the only thing we sell close to a $700 price point is our PVOG (the one with a touchscreen) and that ones $609.

I hope there is a part-II to this. to show flashing, why flash; what are you flashing, when ready to flash . Little to no support in my area ! how do i know to reset and start over vs. read whats there ? Data log; why, when, what's on it. This is great Med. level youtube; need beginning from zero youtube. Then later a part II in all the details of flashing. There are no dyno tuners around; Lucky if there is any English !

great data info but need a more basic for first time user. Whats on the pv3 and why. What do i need to look at, ignore if i have a bike with the ecu programmed/ flashed; or presume it is ? where to go : what not to touch, adjust; Whats on the pv3 stored. Whats there stored tht I can upload to a pc. What do i need ; like a map for my bike if nothing has been programmerd, adjusted before. ? The manuals i download go over each item but also leave out the basics. If my ecu is flashed; how can i see, save and upload that data ?
