Beautiful property. Unfortunately with the address beginning with the number 4 (which means death), you will find that many Asian buyers will avoid that property like a plague. The number 4 is equivalent to the number 666 for Christians.

Haha 14 million and $20K a year in taxes…good luck 👍. Cottages were always the working families retreat in Canada, you could buy the land and build your own, now if it isn’t handed down it’s for elites.

😅 greetings from oakville Ontario thanks for the presentation my family has a cottage on an island retreat on lake of bays and the lifestyle is definitely different than being a landowner but I liked the 3 slip boathouse on lob u can't build these grand structures with living quarters above because of the grey water concerns

On of those trees catches fire. And you won’t have enough time to put out the fire before it takes down the house. Not worth the money. Poor planning

Don't buy a cottage if you don't want trees around it
@Apollocravings3 ай бұрын
@@richardrogers7479 😂 nice. You obviously don’t understand landscaping. You deal with the Sap dripping onto the structure, animals, fire safety, not to mention the tree breaking and debris hitting the house, winter and the snow. Take it from someone who owns a gorgeous cottage with a beautiful thought out landscape design. I know what I’m talking about.

@@Apollocravings If you want that, stay in the City, I want nature not landscaping
@Apollocravings2 ай бұрын
@@richardrogers7479 my favourite part about having a property is the landscaping I’ve done. The walkway and stairway down to the water. The way I’ve laid out the hose system so all I have to do, is turn the facet and a majority of the property gets water. The excess water runs down a waterfall I built. So the soil doesn’t get over soaked, the roots stay healthier. I can re use the water. I built a crows nest this summer with my son. Landscaping is intellectual living - but that’s just my opinions to each their own

That ridiculously massive and monotonous armourstone retaining wall utterly decimates the organic landscape and topography; what a blight. What’s worse is that it looks like they blasted away the granite outcroppings to accommodate this feature, and possibly the residence itself. Totally insensitive to the natural beauty of the landscape. Moreover, the owner(s) must have removed dozens of trees and bulldozed virtually the entire property in order to build an artificial landscape, which detracts from the natural aesthetic and atmosphere of the environment. What’s the point in destroying the very things that make this area so alluring in the first place? I wish that they had chosen to respect and work with the natural landscape instead of transforming it into a garish hardscape-heavy eyesore.
