Samsung refrigerators are junk. Bought ours in December, 2023. In June, 2024 the compressor just had to be replaced. Old fridge ran for over 15 years with no problems. And by the way, the R-600a refrigerant they're using in these now is flammable. The R-134a commonly used prior to that was not. But Samsung isn't the only company doing that. Look up "exploding refrigerators" videos. 😮

So I took out all the screws and still can't get it out. Would have been really valuable for you to actually take it out and show where it is tabbed in so I can get mine out.

My 2014 fridge has had the ice maker replaced twice - in 2017 and in 2020. After 2020 it worked fine until April 2024. No ice! Noticed the air flow vent plastic was hanging down on the left side - removed and found ice build up in it under the rubber mat. Don't understand that since I did the FD by holding down the two buttons on the front and it did a 40 minute defrost of the freezer and supposedly the ice maker. Tried the reset button twice now in 2 days - no ice. It was time to change the filter - did that - no ice. Can't really tell what I'm looking at in the back of the ice maker - but don't see any water, ice or obstruction. No longer under warranty. Any suggestions? Do you think unplugging might help?

MAN! Thank you for this video good sir!! I've been battling an AC unit at work. So far I've fixed all the old crumbling thermostat wires at the outside condenser. I also checked all the thermostat wires inside and outside for other shorts and found none. I made sure all the connections are nice and tight. I pulled the thermostat off the wall and checked all the connections there and they are good! And yet that damn fuse still pops! I've run out of options! So now I'm here. When I get to work tomorrow I'm going straight to the contactor to see if its shot! I really hope that's it! Because if its not then I'm stumped and going to have to call an AC repair company. I really don't want to do that! Wish me luck! Hahaha!

A combination of vinegar & dish soap work well, too, since it's also an acid. Unfortunately, my refrigerator water/ice paddles are not stainless steel but are made of plastic. It's more difficult to remove the calcium.
