As a healer main I think it’s a better idea to cast your DOT spell on all the enemies you can(within reason) and then big heal and THEN cast regen when the tank stops moving.

Agree on black mage and astrologen, but highly disagree on bard, red mage and monk. Especially monk, after a hard day at work, you just want to punch something for your frustrations, monk is the perfect job for it; red mage is useful only when you can unlock the revive ability, but the special effects looks awesome!
