Sure, it's a regular playthrough on death march.

Most important is the 'Heavy Artillery' skill, but on new game+ the opponents have higher levels and the bomb damage doesn't scale up.

@@xerxes6426 I don't think they fixed anything regarding Eredin, in 4.04 he can still be beaten as shown in this vid. To use Rend frequently I keep holding the forward key pressed, any other things like he barely reacting may be fps dependent, I'm not sure. Then I reduce the fps to skip the 2nd phase, but it doesn't always work..

@@xerxes6426 Yes, in next gen they added a downtime to rend, but moving in any direction removes the downtime, that's why i keep holding the moving forward button while using rend, this way you have no relevant downtime.

It's consensus of the speedrun community to use a special autohotkey script for spamming space to avoid wearing out your fingers/keyboard/mouse. You can get a similar result if you spam both space and rightclick as fast as you can. Info at www.speedrun.com/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt

Elex 2 is good until the mid of the game. Then it's absolute garbage, they probably didnt had enough time to finis hit, that can be the only reason

It will always be there as long as you do the same things in the same order.

@@rashid.boulawan It depends on your level and on what recipes you've already learned. In this case I think you have to be level 2 and it has to be the first chest you open with a recipe in it.

@@rashid.boulawan Yep, if you loot the other chest right next to it first, you won't get it, it's a strange system.

The Caranthir glitch can easily happen without you planning for it, less easy to get it on purpose consistently, it's a matter of doing the right amount of damage at the right time with Ciri, no idea what exactly is the cause. If you're unlucky you can get another variation of the glitch, where Caranthir will not stand still but fight you with melee instead of magic. How much damage you do on Caranthir of course depends on the difficulty and probably on your player level, in this case following my route 3 hits 4 times work fine, it was different in my old run for the classic version 1.32: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX_JfIZmr8ycnMU

@@stormingly 90? You mean around 90+10*level, which is around 300 in this case, you can see it at 2:58:41, a lot additional damage comes from skills.

Thx, there are no relevant glitches in ME2 LE, that's why there is not much competition (most speedrunners prefer OG with their shortcuts) and I'm the current WR holder. If you're interested, more runs are in the description, I didn't put them all 'public'.

It's to get the XP for Level 5, which is needed for avoiding overlevelled opponents in Novigrad and for getting enhanced grapeshot. The next gen version changes that, because overlevelled opponents were nerfed.

@@iwasvonix Thanks for the fast reply. So no issue for me as I´m doing deathmarch but on NG+. Last trophy missing for Platin and as I´ve turned around every stone in my first run incl. DLCs I simply want to get that trophy asap. Thanks for your guide!

They changed a lot in gameplay/balancing, so it's quite a different game to play. Overall it should be easier, overlevelled opponents were nerfed and you need fewer points for skilling. But you should still be able to find the dancing star, if you do exactly the same as in the vid, it's not a fixed location, it depends on your level and such.

If you bring Eredin to 0 HP in phase 1, there is a chance phase 2 will be skipped. In my case this only works when I cap the FPS to 60 (activating vsync with a 60hz screen does the same).

You can avoid/reduce fall damage with double-tap SPACE (or whatever jump button you use) before hitting the ground to roll off.
