If you haven’t heard it, check out John bass solo from the Boston ‘76 live show. It’s incredible and definitely has some of that King Crimson sound still there.(ha, here it is… sorry)

I bet king crimson fan's loved that 👍🎸hahaha..he was great in a band or on his own ie UK and Asia. I loved him being in heep. Saw him many times. He never got the credit for writing and and arranging with ken hensley..john said years later he was still owed money from KH..still there was no bad feeling as they played together again , 🎶🎵🙏 john was special. He really got on well with heep. Lee. And especially David byron. 2 weeks after byron was sacked...john left..the rest is history. Thanks john for UK and Asia..RIP a great bass player. Singer and man

So overlooked and underrated. An absolute amazing drummer. This guy blows away fan favorites like Tommy Lee, Peter Criss, A.J. pero(rip). They are all one trick pony’s.

John must have loved that white Fender precision bass (I don't remember him playing Fender Jazz bass BTW). He played it in his UK days (my favorite band of all time). RIP John, big smokey.

Uriah Heep was a third rate band all along. Having Wetton was a surprise blessing for an otherwise sub-mediocre band.
