As good as Phil sounds on "Dance..." and "Squonk" its hard to believe that the others were so unsure of him. Right off the bat Phil has that menacing, sinister vocal that fits so well with those. The same kind of voice he later had on "In The Air Tonight". I just can't imagine those 2 songs with anybody else. Allan Clarke of The Hollies was one of the singers tried. I wonder if he was the guy making it to finalist, before Phil took over.

I still like the way the old Vari*Lites moved and changed colors. They had a certain pop and mechanical look to them. The early ones weren't very bright compared to modern fixtures, but they sure caused a revolution in lighting back in the day.

On the "Home By The Sea" bit in the studio, you can clearly see Mike & Tony are perfectly content to still dress like they did at Charterhouse School. Uncanny.

Phil era muy buen baterista en los setentas, le dio apertura a muchos bateristas que hoy en día están arriba en un escenario, muchas felicidades por ese gran logro de poder contagiar esa actitud de hacer las cosas como debe de ser.

I saw the wind and wuthering tour in '77 as well as the lamb tour in '75. "Three&Duke" also too. Have to admit my own music is very influenced by these great men.

С такой музыкой вообще превратишься в животное не мытое, не стриженое. Потому что будут только репетиции и нисколько времени себя преобразить в человека. Ужас!!! сколько работы над этой LOS ENDOS. Тьма времени вложено в неё.

Was Mick Rogers the vocalist who sang on Solar Fire and The Roaring Silence? If so you would think he'd work out brilliantly with Genesis. Im really happy with the vocals of Phil Collins though and respect his efforts...he was the best choice

Good tour ,saw them headline Knebworth, nowhere near as good as the Wind And Wuthering tour or the preceding shows, they lost their virtuoso Guitarist and never reached those heights again, very sad, but we did get Steve's solo shows and he's still touring all the Genesis classics to this day while his former bandmates have retired ❤

"Mama" by Genesis! Fantastic, creative process! It's the genesis (birth/ creation) of 'Mama', not quite at the embryonic stage of this song. I loved the interactions, the antics and good humour of all members participating. They are all multi-talented and a cohesive whole. Loved Phil singing Sting's Roxanne. It would be great to hear the band (all of you - Mike, Tony and Phil) sing and play songs of other groups, without sounding identical, but give it the Genesis slant/ treatment. It will indicate how much bands respect each other. Thank you for recording the process of creating new Genesis songs and albums. We don't usually see this side of the music making nor the effort that goes into it and some fun is derived. Thank you for your music. Love all of you.

Th best thing bout this tour was Dr. Bruford. U dont get much better than that man. Icing the cake for this tour an s. Hackett. I mean, I knew bill Bruford would not be a part of a band that he was on the outside looking in. Maybe he could have been a full-time member. But I think he was so busy with all the other projects he had going on It probably Wouldn't have worked out. He was certainly busy at the time. One of the more sought after drummers of that time. Any time. Absolute genius on the kit. Not too many people could do what he did. Neil peart type drum let alone a four piece Tama beast bill incorporate
