Edinburgh has the worse roads because the Edinburgh City Council are the worse out of all the Scottish council, poss even the worse in the UK. Pathetic pen pushing councillor and useless planners.

Many changes over the last six months or so. Many building demolished. The most upsetting one is that of the historical post office building. Set on fire, 3rd time successful, for a better word,😢. Now completely demolished. Even the Royal frontage could not be saved . The Postings, that included Tesco at one point is completely demolished. On the high street the ABC cinema is still not developed and remains empty. The old Woolworths building has also just been closed down. The old Coop building area has been transformed with the development of flat dwellings. October /November 2023 seen the demolishing of the last hemp factory. Continuing up St.Clair Street, further demolishing, at this moment i cant recall the original name of the car garage and showroom, that years later was occupied by Kingsway Entertainment. This area has almost completed its redevelopment of small industry units. Whilst we are here, those who may find of interest that the ice rink is still on the go. Further along ,the once open space at the Randolph onto the Standing Stane there is a massive housing (some already occupied ) construction with over one thousand homes plus proposed commercial units. To conclude, to those who knew Kirkcaldy, it disna smell🤭 the same !?!.🤔😂

I was born in Oban during the war in the Bay View Temperance Hotel right on the seafront where New Look is now and this is a lovely reminder of a couple of visits we have made back to Oban since I left there in 1945 the last one being in 2021, Thank you for this video.

This made me happy with tears running down my face. I left Hamilton when I was 18 and Ill be 64 next week. I still say up home though, as I left to join the army nursing corps, I always went home any time off I had. I feel so sad now as my Mum died 5 years ago and I can't see me ever being in Hamilton again. So thanks for this. You drove past what used to be Beckford Lodge, that's where I was born.

I count myself as living there most of my life but I didn't as I left to join the army when I was 18, but every leave or time off I had I went up home, I still call Hamilton 'up home' even though Im now 64. It will always be home to me.

I’ve driven from Glasgow to Biggar and surrounding area, beautiful…. And being from Chicago, driving on the other side took a few days to get used to …. And some of the thin one lane A roads… yikes …. Thank you for putting this up …. It virtual practice for my next trip …. As soon as car hire prices come down again …. Almost £100 per day for an automatic ….. ( can’t drive manual) …….
