Just pull up and NWA song for example. Also degrading women with derogatory names. Do we ban those or bring those Rap artist to public shame? No -- Nor should we. It's freedom of expression in the USA ... 1st Amendment covers this. Precisely why we built the Constitution, to design a country to allow its people to be free in their lives and words. The 13th Amendment did the right thing by allowing black people in specific, to have those rights too. 1st Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I think that is Southerners feel a certain nostalgia when we hear Dixie. But we can’t forget the blood that was spilled and the many black people murdered and enslaved. Don’t get me wrong I love my heritage from the South. Unfortunately, ignorant people now use it as a symbol of hate.

Cassius Ware. Good guy and heck of a linebacker. What a hit and it was legal. Only game I attended that year as a student. Took my future wife to the game. We were right over that play. Etched in my memory. Had Cassius in a speech class at Northwest. Just a great person.

I live (for most of my life, did live in Amory during WWII) less than 3 hrs. from Oxford and am sad to say I have never been to the grove on football saturday. There may still be time. Would love to hear this band play this rousing number. Now that they have Kif as head football coach I would also likely go to the game. (that is if I could get a ticket!)
