Why would you pull the bar up to near shoulder height and then squat all the way down to stand up again?

Still using this in 2023. The mobility aspect of that front rack can't be emphasized enough. The TRX, bands , T-Spine, and floor drills for wrist mobility are what made the catch safe for my lower arms as loads exceeded bodyweight.

Great video. I've never cared what others though about me and I've been bringing a steel pipe (from Home Depot: 1 in. x 6 ft. Black Steel) filled with sand to my gym. I have been using the steel pipe for awhile now, practicing the correct posture/movements for this exercise because I do not want to damage my back.

Only good for 2 handed swings, deadlifts, squats. Can't really do anything else you do with a proper KB. You should add another upper section to enclose the handle to make it more appropriate.

To anyone that wants to learn how to properly clean: please disregard just about everything this guy is demonstrating here. There are numerous ACTUAL Olympic lifters just on this platform alone that you can learn from. Even with the promise of simplicity, DO NOT learn cleans this way; you will spend even more time unlearning the bad habits when you could’ve just started correctly from the beginning.
@PhiyackYuh2 жыл бұрын
What is the correct way mate? Its because its simple it means its easy to learn. Its because its complex does not mean its hard to learn it. How stupid can you be? Did you know that people learn differently but also coach differently? 🤷♂️🤦♂️🤫

Hmm. I started power cleans last week and I'm pretty close to the way he does it. I do start with the bar elevated a few inches because it's a new movement and I also don't squat at the end. Once I feel more confident I may incorporate those into the routine. And needless to say I'm starting very light but actually have no desire to go heavy anyhow.

Yeshua Hamashiach is God in the flesh, the Son of God, the Word of God, and he died so that you may be presented blameless in the sight of the Father. And so you may inherit his kingdom. The LORD Yeshua Hamashiach is the only way to the Father and his kingdom. Please accept him into your life before it's too late, every day is not guaranteed. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me. May God bless you all.
