Coach Chad Scott from Charleston Southern University shows how to make a kettlebell out of things you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot. This is a great kettle bell if you are on a budget and still want to get some swings in. It will cost about 20-25 bucks for a kettle bell that you can load with 2.5's, 5's, and 10lb weight plates. This is a very good do it yourself project that can save your school some money if you don't have it in the budget.
This demo was performed at Dorman High school located in Roebuck, SC during a South Carolina Strength Coaches association clinic. The clinic is put on during the same time as the Shrine Bowl held in Spartanburg, SC.
Thank you Coach Scott for the great DIY kettlebell.
