I'm writing this in mid-October, but I want to wish all of you and yours a very (early) Merry Christmas. This song, and many other ones on this album, have such a carefree and joyous vibe to them. Can't get enough of it. Hence why I'm listening to this before Halloween is even here.

I am not a christian though I believed in santa due to christmas being a popular holiday and I was too young to care about religion, I probably shouldnt but I always looked forward to christmas that odd nostalgic feeling always brings me back, those big christmas trees in malls and scented candles. But sadly my family doesnt celebrate christmas because of the obvious so my christmas spirit always fades away as the years pass by though i still cling onto that feeling i felt multiple years ago

Vince, your music is woven into American culture like a heartbeat into life-ever-present, essential, and felt by all, from the youngest to the oldest, bringing joy and warmth with every note. I can't listen without my toes tapping the floor. Somehow, your music ignites a kinetic symphony within me, starting with a subtle toe-tap that cascades upward to my hips. Even while seated, my torso slowly begins to sway, shoulders roll back and forth, and head begins to bob ever so slightly, until I am in an irrepressible seated dance-an expression of the joy bestowed by your piano and brush drum, transforming me into a living, breathing instrument of your infectious rhythms.

I love how the bass and tenor snarls on this grand piano on this record. Part of it is due to the key of the piece and the region of the piano where this tune is played in the original key (if you talk to professional piano architects / "scale designers", they'll tell you that the high bass / low tenor break is notorious for "wolf notes" in the transition points between the single wound bass and double wound; and especially between the highest double wound bass strings at the top of the bass bridge, and the lowest wire tenor strings at the bottom of the treble bridge, aka the crossover point. Some designers/companies actually put thinner wound strings at the bottom of the treble bridge in the low tenor, to try to ease/mask the jarring sonic transition up the scale from wound to wire strings). It also sounds like this may also be an older piano whose lid was frequently kept open in the studio, and whose wound bass strings caught a lot of dust particles in the windings while vibrating. Further, the hammers sound like they're starting to get hardened from use over time. Any other thoughts from piano technicians?

When i was a kid, we had the CD of these songs. We would play it in the background while making holiday dinners. I remember just sitting at the kitchen counter with my siblings while our parents made the food. Sister was really good at baking, she made amazing homade dinner rolls. Sometimes we would have my grandma over, and she would bring her amazing mashed potatos. I dont know what she did to them, but they were just heavenly. On Thanksgiving, we would all sit in the living room watching the Macy's parade. Isn't what it used to be, but last year we got all the family together for the first time in a while. It was nice to have everyone there on Thanksgiving, just drinking hot coco next to the fire and watching the floats. I miss them a lot, but listening to the music brings back lots of great memories. :)

9-29-24 Hey! You might recognize me from the "Chirstmas (EDIT- Time) is Here" video. I play piano, and this song is just always playing over in my head. I've finally learned to play the first four notes, and my goodness are they beautiful! Easy to play, and recognize the notes and order! I love everything about peanuts (but the name since i'm allergic haha) Seriously though, this is all so amazing.

9-25-24 Hello, KZbin. I was sitting in my music class today and heard this song. I was just swaying to the calming beat, until I heard the lyrics. This sound is popular on Tiktok, therefore I recognized it. It made me a bit sad and happy. I liked singing the song a lot. I'm still so sad I am not able to do the Charlie Brown play this year. It was a tradition apparently, but the music teacher decided to change it. I don't usually comment, specially not this formally, but this time I just felt like I needed to. Well, that was all I have to say. Have a good day/afternoon/night/etc God bless you all (if your not christian sorry!!) Goodbye everyone. :)
