This is adorable! I love the animal/ fowl with floral design series that are out there. I have a lot I downloaded to my Pinterest but was a little intimidated to try. Thanks for showing me how easy it can be.😊 Have you done some larger paintings for your daughters room? I'll bet they are amazing. I did miss listening to you though. Sorry your sound was corrupted. I've watched enough of your videos, that I heard you in my mind saying "Hello everybody and welcome to another watercolor tutorial." ❤

Haha I love this Marcia! No I haven't painted anything for my daughters room because her room was also the spare bedroom/office/laundry room/husbands office/storage.

The orange area actually looks more like a desert landscape with tussocks of grass under a stormy sky. If it weren't for the moon, it could definitely pass for a desert landscape painting :)

If you don't want the doll look on the mushroom try using someone like indigo or pereleen violet for the shadow. Black always gives that effect.

Hi Julia! Thank you for the awesome tutorials. They have really helped me understand watercolor. But, before I knew better (only been watercolor for 9 months), I ended up with a ton of shimmer metallic paints. And I do not know what to do with them. I have tried to paint normal paintings with metallic and it doesn’t quite work. Can you please offer a couple of tutorials?
@JuliaLisArt3 күн бұрын
I do have some tutorials using metallic for details :)

Hi, Julia! I do not like things for pity. I liked this bcz it was a good painting. It was abstract, abstract means there is no focus. That said when you gave us permission to add what we want, I did add some small 4-5 strand little clumps that got shorter the closer to the back ground in the center, to show that the grasses in the foreground were everywhere:)
@JuliaLisArt3 күн бұрын
You don't need permission from me! It's your painting my friend

As I was doing a fantasy doodle on a very large page, I came across this brilliant mystical piece. Thank you so much. I have added in your mushrooms. Blessings to you. keep doing and not editing. Thank you for no music. I can’t tell you how brilliant this piece has been for me to hear you work in right brain, creative space. This is something most of the KZbin tutorial teachers are resisting. Stay in right brain. Don’t worry about what to say or how to explain. We can see, even if you don’t speak.Stay in right brain space. It will make you a star.
