8 months since installation of these for heavy wall mountings, zero problems. Good product imo

These work great, not sure what all the hate is about. That said, I bought a box of 10 and 1 of them had the tab that catches the inside of the wall break off when I flattened the insert, making it inoperable. Probably me being careless, but I would recommend anyone using this to be a bit careful at that step.

Agree with other comments, these are not great. The theory is wonderful. But even with a pre drill, when screwing in the plug, the blue pieces expanded and the plug sheared off. What can I do now? I have half a plug in the wall. The concept is ok, but too many others have had the same experience.

Horrible. Don't buy. Simple project turns into a mess. Bolt didn't tighten snug to ceiling. Will now have to patch and start again. Good old fashioned toggle bolt is better.

Nah Doesnt really work! You easily get it in wall! Than you puit a screw in and it goes in 2 /3 way lpocks up and anchors dont go in! Useless. Threw out in garbage where they belong , simply bought metal ones and was done in minutes! This is what happens when something s over designed and engineered! It is a wall Anchor if you can drill in a screw to anchor without screw stopping 2/3 way than you are a useless product. Avoid

These are HORRIBLE. I hate to leave this review. But I am trying to hang a cabinet in my shed and thoughts these looks pretty solid. Only....THERE IS NO SCREW DRIVER HEAD THAT ACTUALLY WORKS TO SCREW THESE IN! I should have bought the other kind I was debating on buying. Back to Home Depot. So disappointing

Does anyone know if the screw has to make it all the way to the interior toggle to still holdfast?

Garbage crap falls into the wall. Use standard toggle instead and save yourself headache and money. Threw half the package away because they suck

Everything went smoothly. No problems at all on drywall.

Nothing is broken. Here is the tip. After you have put the drillertoggle in the plasterboard, put a skewer (or something similar) through the hole in the drillertoggle to get the matrix part in the right position. It should work after a few tries.

I bought these to replace wall mounting hardware for a tv mount I purchased. The provided hardware wasn't optimal for the location we wanted the tv mounted so I bought these anchors. There was a bit of a learning curve. I noticed that when screwing them in the plastic did want to bend and I feared breaking. I realized with a little muscle I could start them with my hands. Then I used an alan key (was part of the tv mount supplies 😂) in the hole of the toggle to provide leverage to twist in until the piece was able to be pushed in. Then I followed instructions with the screw driver. I also had a toggle break, but this was my own mistake. Thanks to comments on the video I was able to figure out how to remove the broken toggle and replace it easily enough. All in all, I appreciate this product. I was able to mount the tv in a place acceptable for the use and design of the room. These toggles support more weight than the mount so I didn't get to really test the support of the toggles, but the mount is very secure.

If I’m understanding your instructions it would have been more clear to state that you screw it in clockwise and then once you feel the torque, you screw it back out counterclockwise. The way you describe it is not super clear.

Packaging needs to move the size legend to where it does not get ripped off while opening the product.

Trash product. The directions were unclear and the mechanism didn’t function as advertised. I’ve been a carpenter for over 20 years and I had to look on KZbin to understand how to install this. Frustrating.

Easily one of the worst products I've ever been ripped off for. Try after try - even increasing the pilot hole size for something that supposedly doesn't need a pilot hole. Snap! Snap! Snap! One after another and all they do is break off. I bought mine off the shelf in Menard's and returned to the hardware section to see if I could tell if I got old, brittle stock or something. "Doesn't appear so," says the sales associate. "I wish we'd quit selling these because returns of the unopened ones are a chore." This crap is infuriating when you live in a rural area and the fuel to return junk and buy something that works cost more than the product.

It’s quite easy to fuck these up when installing them, but they work good.

used this product before and it worked fine, doing it again and the plastic broke off so I bought a new pack and the metal anchor refuses to fold up, took them out tried making it fold just to see how it would work and you have to angle it perfectly just for the screw to go into the metal…. junk

If you lucky you will make it, I don’t know what happening inside out of 4 only 1 tightened properly rest screws just moving inside !!!

The metal arm broke off almost immediately when I tried to insert it. If you move at any slight angle other than perfectly perpendicular to the wall, they break pretty much instantly. Edit: it would also be helpful to include the direction of the arrow on the written instructions in some way. I had to dig through at least half of the comments on this video to figure that out, and it was in a list at the bottom of a long comment, and the bottom of that list.

First the good: Got a 10 pack of the 425R (1/4" by 2.5") to mount a grab rail in a bathroom; one end into a steel stud, and the other into double 1/2" drywall. I tugged on it quite aggressively with my 220+lb frame and it didn't budge. Now the bad: As pointed out by others, it doesn't like to go into insulation; that can probably be addressed by using something to compact it a bit first or to fish some out. But the main issue I had, that has also been mentioned by others, is that three of the plastic straps snapped off just while trying to fold them back to insert the toggle into the hole. The SOLUTION I used was to drop a 15/16 drill bit into the strap to stabilize it while bending it back into the toggle, and then leaving it in the groove while inserting everything into the hole. Push the cap right over the bit and when you're satisfied it's tight to the wall remove the bit and snap off the strap. Perhaps the manufacturer could include a plastic rod for that purpose, but presumably everyone will have some drill bits since they have to drill a hole in the wall anyway; and it doesn't have to be a 15/16 bit, just something that will fit in the groove. I will definitely give these another try if a project requires it.

Trashy flimsy no good waste of time

I have a hollow bathroom door that I want to mount a robe anchor. The the door wall is so thin like maybe 1/8 of an inch thick. Will these anchors work? To me it looks like a big gap between the metal arrow and the door layer.

Complete 🗑️, just put holes in my ceiling, screw wouldn’t turn the piece that was supposed to latch into the ceiling. just kept falling out
