funny thing The only difference between Hard and Expert on all non pro instruments is that the notes on the right side (lanes 3-5) are just hard lanes 3-4 but more spread out

@@KvoidCoconutSanitarium is another one that I think should be added as well. It does start slow, but towards the end, it's fast paced like Seek And Destroy was in the bridge. Maybe include Creeping Death as well. Hit The Lights definitely should be added as well as The Four Horsemen, Harvester of Sorrow and Blackened

Hard and Expert are almost the same. I mean, ok, you have one more lane, but you'll always have a maximum of two notes at once, so the increase of difficulty is ridiculous

I play in expert mode with the ability to get at 90% perfect notes in almost every song I play. Paradise City is harder because it has a more unpredictable pattern in its guitar solo. Beyond The Flame gets easy once you realize it's just a pattern of 3 notes alternating between the charts, it's more recognizable if you have pro colors on. And the rapid taps become easy with little practice.

My first time playing this mode they had it on the hardest setting. I didnt know that until we stated and that was the first song 😭 i got like a 30% by spamming buttons.

I feel like the plastic guitar games in general (GH and RB) have had trouble with difficulties from Medium to Hard, and Festival pad only makes it worse by having Hard be just Expert with one less lane.

I love seeing more people getting into this stuff My brother and I were fortunate enough to still have one GH3 and GHWT Wiitar from the 2010s, and it's been a blast getting back into these game(s) I remember a few years before FF was a thing, I was just about to toss these sacred guitars away as they weren't being used anymore. Thank goodness I stopped myself and thought that we could hang them on the wall as a cool memory piece

I’m a Rock Band fan in Japan who got an Epic Games account purely for Fortnite Festival. I wish I could get my own guitar controller, but in the meantime, I hold my gaming keyboard sideways and use [1 2 3 4 5] to fret and [Arrow keys ↑ ↓] to strum. This mode is way easier with an actual strum bar you can move up and down.

By the way, Pro Lead and Pro Bass comes with the full Easy to Expert chart set, so don’t be discouraged if you can’t play Expert charts right away. Nobody can without practice! Ease yourself into strum mechanics in Medium or Hard; there’s no shame in that. Also, I recommend increasing the scroll speed in the settings, because the default speed is pretty slow. I prefer 1.75x myself, but it’s a matter of taste.
