It kind makes me think of the school for good and evil. It just seems like their trying to undermine masculinity entirely by stripping media of any good examples for little boys and creating a false image of what men should be for little girls😐. The issue with race swaps is that it sometimes (a lot of the time) takes away from a character’s classic looks. Say Astrid, she’s a Viking correct? And Vikings are Scandinavian people from like a looooong time ago meaning they would NOT be black or Asian at that time making it STUPID to make Astrid, a blonde, fair skinned, SCANDINAVIAN girl, black or any other race.

No people of color should ever be turned white, unless it's an adaptation of a real life historical figure. It is a form of opression and distortion of society. We've had millions of white characters over the centuries.

I saw mufasa a few days after release in Australia (dec 19) and sonic a week after release in Australia (dec 26) I over all preferred mufasa but that’s just my opinion. Also I haven’t seen any random clips of people dancing to sonic songs but I’ve seen a lot of people dancing to I always wanted a brother

I mean Nick Fury was white in the comics but after the movies Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury wasn't bad, I think It's because there are no important plot lines that needs Nick Fury to be white, he was just a military man with a lot of skill, he didn't needed to be white, black, Latino or ginger and he is American meaning that it doesn't matter what colour he is he just needs to represent the idea of S.H.I.E.L.D and the idea of a highly skilled soldier without physical enhancements

I do like this movie (first is the best) but I am disappointed they didn’t add the dragons we met in Race to the Edge into Httyd 2 because I think it would have been amazing. But Race to the Edge ending adds more to Valak’s (Hiccups mother) character. Tbh, if I had to choose between watching Httyd 2 or Race to the Edge, Race to the Edge any day. Also side note: Have you watched Dragons defenders and riders of Berk?

I swear to Christ. I’m gonna crash out if they make another live action cash grab with race swapping. Now, I don’t hate race swapping, I’m a marvel/DC fan, I see it all the time and I honestly think it works better in a lot of places. But disneys issue isn’t just that they’re doing it, it’s that they can’t do it right for the LIFE of them. How about instead of swapping the races just make new stories from other cultures where the characters racing don’t need swapped? That’s why Moana was GREAT

Snow white is named for being white as snow, she cant have a race swap to have a darker skin tone because it contradicts the name and idea for the story, the witch is jealous because snow white is more beautiful and the biggest key detail for her beauty is the pure white skin
