Hi Jon, are you sure you don’t prefer the black wheels! The other two like white as well and I need as many votes as possible! Decals from Image Works. Progress is being made on the NC30 now so the 3MA won’t be too far off some attention. Thanks for the nice comments. We appreciate it 👍👌

Amazing machine. It seems to me, after looking closely and comparing images, that this bike and the '89 bike are different. As far as I can tell, the intake and exhaust pipes do not match and why would they have been changed since then. Just my observation. Still, an amazing machine.

On the preview day there were the 50’s that we covered and the NS400, also a couple of the 250 race bikes. The road going 250’s etc were displayed later in the weekend.

I own a kitted RC30. I spent 5 years rebuilding it and it's still being run in. I'm surprised that they still hold such interest. As to comparing them to the RC45, from experience, the 45 is a much better daily rider because that it was initially designed by Honda rather than HRC so is more road than track orientated, which presented many issues when raced in WSB. Rumour has it that halfway through the production run, Honda repositioned the engine in the frame to alleviate the handling issues.

@@raceandretro Sweet! That is someone I'd really enjoy having a chat with. I know quite a bit about technical foibles of the RC 30 but not very much about the RC45. I do know is that they are bomb proof, even when fully race prepared. One story was Honda France dynoed one of the endurance bikes before practice and after the race early in it's race career at Le Mans and it had only lost half a horsepower! Another story that was banded about in the early nineties was that Honda were having issues getting the RC 45 to be reliable at 14.500 RPM. They managed it eventually but apparently that was part of the reason they hung on racing the RC30 until 1993.

@@johnnyrvf any of those V4, gear drive cam Honda's are great pieces of kit. I've a 92 rc36 and that can still show a lot of modern bikes a clean pair of heels on a tight road.Handling is great and loads of torque from the V4 750

Similar rc30 3 months ago got upto 22k did not hit reserve, a month later 18k was the max bid I was shocked

Honda have started remanufacturing parts for the RC30, at a price! So they can be used rather than kept in collections. They are a very rewarding bike to ride but IMO not worth the prices they were commanding 5 to 10 years ago.

I could do some damage (wallet) in there! 😄 But I already have 7 1990’s sport bikes.. ZXR750 H2, TLR, ZX12R, 900RR Blade, CBR1000F, VFR750 RC36, 750 SRAD If that H1 ZXR goes for a grand..that is a huge bargain! I can’t see how clean it is, history etc.. but mint, low mileage, original ZXR H1/H2’s are creeping up to £5k plus now! There’s a very clean red/white H1 currently on eBay for £5995.. whether it actually goes for that is open to debate, but.. they are slowly going up in value. Enjoyed the vid though lads, even if your price guesses were potentially way out 😂👏🏼

Watched quite a few auction videos and always see vfrs,gsxrs,ducatiis,early fireblades but I've yet to see the CBR that started the brand,the original cbr600f. It goes to show how few there are around now

@@raceandretro exactly. How many of the jellymoulds do you now see? Most were thrashed and crashed or straight into racing as they were the quickest 600 when they came out in 87. I actually bought a tidy 1990 jellymould a few months ago for very humble money and it was because it's now such a rare bike now that made me buy the bike. Mine has been in storage many years but I motd the bike and used it all summer.Still goes very well considering it's 34 years old

@@raceandretro yes,rwb scheme although at some point in its past,an owner has swapped the blue to match the red and did it very well.I can only assume they were aiming for the cbr1000f paint scheme of the era

For radiators, I just had one rebuilt (for an fz750) by a place In Walsall. Before the rebuild the radiator was a horrible mess.
