Always enjoy watching your videos, they’re always so slick. Shame aprilia weren’t at the show, the new RS457 looks smart. Best bike on your video is definitely the RGV250, what a gorgeous machine😁 You’re right about the retro look on the new bikes, us of a certain age (63😳) usually fall into 2 categories, those that have the knowledge to rebuild a bike of their youth and those that just can’t. So the classic retro look in a modern chassis is an ideal alternative. The only problem is the lack of that 2 stroke smell, mmmm☺️

Great video lads, i went to nec on sunday 19th with my son and grandson, in at 10 am opening and out at 5pm, full day, 10500 steps !,. i agree kawasaki stand and range was good, and demise of superbikes and sports bikes was evident everywhere else accept yamaha/ducati/honda,, but prices for them ! £10000 + up to £25000 + i can see 2nd hand sports bikes being good alternatives , couldn't help but notice most bikes having lcd/digi dash displays "which i like" and mat black frames/engines ,"nightmare to clean" imo, .Suzuki have even ditched gsxr range for 800cc parallel twins, even ktm are into the big parallel twins to, i do like the apprilia 660 race bike, £15000+ out of the box race bike, how come you were a "man down" ?,. my new bike favourite was the velocity-moto xsr900gp (Rd500 lookalike) i preferred it over yamahas own marlboro bike, and i'm a wayne rainey/yzr 500 fan,.i met and got photo with john mcguiness so thats a bonus, not sure if you top trumped me with hicky, but i met and talked to him back in his hawk 750 kawasaki days, so i guess we are even,.good but expensive day out and thats without buying any show or bike merch, just car parking, entrance fee, food and drink, heres to next year,.cheers,.

Thank you, Mike! Hope you are well, sir? Dom couldn't make it as he had the sickness bug that's going round (not sure who gave it him!! 😂). I think you're spot on about the 2nd hand market being the better alternative. I'm still scratching my head about how that ZX7 went for £950 at the stafford show!! Those Aprilia's are decent out of the box. I've heard you have to spend quite a bit on the new R7's to get them up to speed! However, the new sportbike bsb class is using a spec ecu to make it a level playing field (which will set you back 3k!). Didn't see McPint when we were there, but I used to knock about with hicky as teenagers during the Aprilia superteen days! I'm not sure if he remembered me, mind 😂 Ant

It was rubbish this yr, very sparce, you didnt miss nowt. No Harley and no MV to Name but a few, I've got to be honest, it ain't going to last if it stays like that, mind you Ural was amazing, im talking about the price, starts at £23,000 plus now ( I think 24k), I'll leave it at that, no it was not good, not for the distance, ticket and parking price, such a shame.

Ah yes I forgot about Harley, they had a massive stand last year! What really stood out to me was the age demographic. Hardly any of the younger generation there. Are bikes just not 'cool' anymore? Or is it just too hard and expensive to get into? 🤔 Either way, it is concerning for the future!
