@@ChinHobbyToys I'd thought the arm design was first made in model kit form with the Thunderbolt version of the Ball...which was covered in sticker decals, that part being reused for the special versions such as the Igloo ones with the better version of the central part of the Ball

FYI I don't think they "fixed" Roy's scale size. In the anime he's much taller than the other pilots. So he's to scale with the rest of them since humans have varying height.

This is awesome! We live down the street from the Toei Animation Studio (character originated from) in Oizumigakoen, Japan, and there is a small museum in front of the studio with various sizes of the Mazinger Z, but no photos were allowed. I started to collect my childhood figures (die-cast plastic hybrid) that were a dream to own at the time and will purchase the Mazinger Z next. Just received the GX-95 Gordian Warrior and the weight is heavy. Great video and detail.

Got mine put up a couple weeks ago finally. It’s super heavy especially with all the beam effects with it. Absolutely beauty of a figure though. It’s definitely one of my favorites but my Calibarn still beats this one. The effects and gimmicks on it are just amazing. The Sazabi is still an awesome figure nonetheless.
