Finally someone shows which parts are metal and which are plastic nice stop motion feature mine should arrive in 4 days

Nice. Careful on the booster pack. The piston gimmick is useless and very flimsy.

Wow. Loving the quality of these, particularly compared to the ones I grew up with. Great replica of the old cartoon. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
Yup. But more on display piece compared to the old tomy motorized zoid.

@chinhobbytoys is there any news/ rumor if a compatible Fire Phoenix will also be released?
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
No news on that one yet. It’s all speculations for now. The one that is confirms are the three armor sets will be released Jan of next year. Schneider unit set Jaeger unit set Panzer unit set But kinda pricey for just an armor. More expensive than the liger zero itself.

I would love to know if this one will be getting the armor pieces for Jager o Panzer

I hope in future they release models which you assemble in VR using glasses like Xreal Air.

If that happens, very few people can afford it. Only the elite can.

I feel Bandai did not make the blade liger since there is already a die cast highly detailed one that has been made before. But it is very hard to find in the aftermarket now.
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
Yup, Hagane works. I sold mine long time ago. Lots of issue in that diecast 1/72 blade liger. Mine came defective. Loose joints that you can’t tighten. The front leg sling on my copy was messed up.
@bigmoneycollector5136 Жыл бұрын
@@ChinHobbyToys that sucks. Mine is still all good. I love it though. So beautiful. I love the real springs and chrome parts.

The shoulder and hip extensions are very questionable. The femur isn't free floating, it's directly attach to the hip socket. They tried to make it as biologically parallel to a big cat but the hips don't move that way. Even if cats shoulders aren't attached to the rest of the skeleton other than through muscles, the implementation still look wacky. I don't know, just looks like bad engineering design. Pistons are hard to implement, Bandai. IBO pistons suck, and now they're trying (and again, failing) with pistons with L0. Overall it's giving me vibes like Bandai still hates Tomy after all these years. Making a product with tons of cutting edge design, but lots of critical flaws.
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
Still unique designed making it more articulated. Am not too worry about the plastic joints since I won’t be playing with it that much and will be just displaying it. Bandai already perfected the piston gimmicks thru their UC perfect grades kits but then again bandai chogokin have their own separate designers vs Bandai’s model kit group.
@carlorielmendez6505 Жыл бұрын
@@ChinHobbyToys Still looks bad, so not sold on me. Thanks for the more comprehensive articulation review. I've seen lots lately, and boy, a lot of them are afraid to try a lot of joint. But majority of reviewers never tried all of the joints.
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
@carlorielmendez6505 to be honest, overall I still love my TOMY motorized liger zero especially the blade liger to play with. This chogokin is more on display piece. You pose it and display and leave it.
@carlorielmendez6505 Жыл бұрын
@@ChinHobbyToys current motorized lineup was a mixed bag. The price are a bit way above what you should expect, but they have tons of plastic. Some zoids types have better mechanisms compared to older zoids (the pterosaur ones are diverse and unique now) while some like the ligers have sacrificed elbow and knee joints for extra weapon gimmicks. Overall Wild and Wild zero toys are defnitely upgrades compared to the 90s-00-s lineup but with the fanbase hating the smaller scaling.
@ChinHobbyToys Жыл бұрын
@carlorielmendez6505 am talking about the original motorized zoids back in 2000. Static but solid and playable.
