Nice video, it was very informative and help me out a lot. I took apart an old set of feeler gauges to slide in and separate the upper and lower section, but I cannot figure out how to get the green board out. does it just pop off after removing all the old fuses?

I can’t remember if there are screws holding it on or if it just popped off.

There is a decompression valve to help with starting. Push the lever back and down. Way easier to pull then.

The corroded terminals were causing different things to not work. That's why I decided to refurbish the whole thing. You also need to find all of the ground strap/wires on your vehicle. My drivers side window switch would short out when I rolled up the window and cancel the cruise. I cleaned the connection on one of the ground straps and that fixed the problem. Hope this helps.

@@WallysPlace66 Yeah there's a list of projects to do but fires come that jump the line so I put them out. My son had a tree that was gonna come down at my dad's old place and they didn't wait for me and just missed hitting the garage but I was there to cut and stack a bunch of ole tree then went to my daughter's to close up the side of her house where the plumbers were working. Saturday my son and I worded on the window motor for the driver's window. Screw didn't match up so we gotta find some that fit. Busy is good but sometimes it's nice to rest. I am the only one home right now so I did some laundry and after that I watched my eyelids for a few minutes. Talk to ya soon.

Good to see ya Ron. Just keep moving day after day believe me it helps. When my first wife died I became a shut-in, I ate Ravioli and canned soup because I was afraid to go out in public. My friends and customers urged me to return to work, which helped a lot. We're still praying for y'all.

If you start watching at 10:35 you can see those red “spoons” that I made. They release the tabs and I was able to separate the halves to reveal the circuit board.
