Okay, so I came because this popped up in my feed (I have been looking at them and this 'click baited' me as the only negative-sounding review. Well played, my friend!!). I stayed because I wanted to know what on earth the switch box in the boot of your car was and searched your channel for it. But I subbed for the coffee!

I’ve got this for my motorcycle. Also got this accessory the NOCO GBC007 47-Centimeter Boost X-Connect Adapter Extension Cable For GB20, GB40, GB50 and GBX45 UltraSafe Lithium Jump Starters. The cable is just right so I don’t have to remove the battery cover if the inevitable happens. Also there is a hard case which can be bought as well.

My car battery died twice within 2 weeks last month. AAA arrived the 1st time. Told me the alternator needed to be replaced. Towed car to dealer. Dealer said battery was good but found $2000.00 in other repairs. My cost for battery charge and diagnostic: $180.00 Battery dies again due to non-use and cold weather. This time I bought the NOCO CB40 Boost +. 1st attempt; no results. Pressed override button. 2nd attempt; car starts. So I let the car run a half hour, as suggested. Used this as an opportunity to return the jump box to full charge via the cigarette lighter. I'm a happy camper.

Ha ha ha !! yes, they are really good and one of my favorite drinks so far !! yes, it's a module that can pair with most lighting systems, and love it :) you have full control over lights with the touch of a button !! I like separate remort other than fiddling with the mobile for a random APP with Bluetooth stuff :) hope this helpful for you

Hey mate !! Thanks for the input, which part of the world you live in ? Here is Australia its pretty hard to use in summer months to be honest, I find myself removing cable lot more often. Its changing in the morning time, however as soon as ambient temperature hits 24c and sun in-front, charger start to heat up so fast and its nearly useless.
@BrumbyBrooks
@BrumbyBrooks 4 ай бұрын
@@campingmates I am in Western Australia. I admit when I was using the old style quad lock mount on the window I never used wireless charging because of heat generation. I have since upgraded to using a Mag wireless adhesive dash mount in the truck with the phone situated covering half the air vent and have not experienced any heat issues even during the recent heatwave. I also use a MAG vent mount in the Hilux but use a cable for charging and using CarPlay. The dash mount and vent mount are excellent because now I can fit the sunshade up without having to remove the windshield mount.

I use the wireless charging all day even in 40c heat when it’s in front of the vent. I recommend it.

Mate you are the epitome of modern camping, so relaxing so peaceful, meticulously organised, a proficient cook, connoisseur of fine whisky and coffee, and above all, you respect and love your four legged human. You have my support and respect. PS. My grandmother use to grind her coffee with a similar grinder but made out of brass.
@campingmates
@campingmates 4 ай бұрын
Thanks mate !! appreciate your kind comments yes I think there are still those brass old-school coffee grinders that exist out there like your grandmother's but very expensive. those are extremely satisfying and ASMR-worthy :) I do my best to keep things organized and look good for the camera and of course the campsite. Hopefully, in the future, it will get a little better since I am learning as I go. Wait for the next episode! I have slow-cooked 10h a nice Lamb shoulder on the GA !!

Cheers mate !! It was great DIY project however if its up to me now, I would save up and get a pre-made one from on-tap or Ryobi weed sprayer. Much more versatile and not to mention time saving. But if you enjoying DIY by all means. To answer your question I don’t use it anymore in my setup but pretty sure it will last for a while:) and not to mention repairing it would be super easy since you built it ;)

I bought one last night. Went to use it this morning and it worked. The first time went to the store came out wouldn't start again so I went to use it again and it would not work and then sit there for 20 minutes. I tried everything I can think of. It would not work. I had to get a jump from somebody else. I am so disappointed. I paid $130 for this thing less than 24 hours ago. The full freaking charge and it would not want my Toyota Tacoma with a V6. We're not started. It wouldn't even get the battery up to 12 volts. I have a meter inside my car and told me I had 11.2 or something like that and so I wouldn't even take it to a 12 volts if they can't take it to 12 volts. How's it going to turn over the car? A 12 volt system and should take it to 13 or 14volts I am so disappointed !
@campingmates
@campingmates 6 ай бұрын
Real life experience!! It wouldn’t get batter than this, you got the GB40? I would strongly recommend you to get GB-70 for big boy trucks even I am thinking to upgrade mine to a GB50 or GB70. We struggle to start a dead v6 camry had to jumpstart as well as use the battery pack. Witch worked in the end.
@TommyBaldwin652
@TommyBaldwin652 6 ай бұрын
@@campingmates Yes I got the gb40. The next one up ( don't know the model #) was $190 ! That's a little more then I wanted to spend..I don't think AutoZone will allow a return on a opened unit either. So it seems I'm stuck with this. I will keep it in my truck..Who knows maybe it will work next time...I also read a comment in here from a guy who takes his hunting where there is absolutely no signal. It seemed like a good idea even if as in my experience so far a 50/50 shot of working. That's better then nothing. Or maybe I'll send it to my daughter. She has a small car. If it will work on her car then its not a loss at all..!

I'm just stupid excited about screw in tent pegs. For most people it just makes things more convenient but for me, it makes it safe for me to go without help. That's just got me giddy! Edited to add: My lungs are bad. I get winded to the point of blacking out pretty easily. Being able to screw in pegs in an hour as opposed to spending six hours with all the breaks and maybe hurting myself, that's a huge difference. It opens the world for me.
