By the sound of it you either need a new stainless steel fuel tank (galvanised would do) or clear the tank completely from fuel, clean, insert diesel cleaner and start again. Expensive but could be done in Tunisia.

Thanks Tom, we’ve not had any problems since this time. We now stay ahead of the bug with biocide and fuel polishing/filter changes.

Nice video guys, I was in the ionian this summer 2024, and I plan to coast Peloponnesus in spring-summer 2025 to go to Crete and the Aegean. I am spending the winter in Manfredonia, South Adriatic, a Place I recommend. Fair winds

@maurizioferrario1949 whatever you do, sail from East to West to Crete NORTH coast. South coast has no Anchorage and gets south strong winds.

We did not use an agent. Harbor master was very helpful to give us guidance on where to pay and stamp passports etc

Datca, nicknamed the 'Eden on Earth,' is a sailing paradise. You should visit the ancient site of Knidos, an active and fascinating archaeological site on the very tip of the peninsula. Also Datça has agricultural products like olive oil and beautiful wines. You can try.

There were 2 professional displays. One near downtown Miami and one near the Coast Guard station off a barge near me on the bay side of Miami Beach. And then quite a few big rockets from individuals. It was impressive!
