Can you repeat this process if it dose not work all the way?

Is it still driving or is gone now
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
It went for about 3 years perfectly until I changed my waterpump and forgot to tighten the hose clamp on the lower hose. I took it on the freeway the next day and annihilated the engine. With how well it was going I’m confident it would’ve lasted a lot longer.

Friends don't let friends use cotton gauze air filters, especially in a dusty environment. A note for the mechanic: these head gasket testers with the blue fluid (called bromothymol blue) do not test for hydrocarbons. They test for presence of acid. When carbon dioxide (from combustion) is pushed through it, it creates carbonic acid (akin to club soda) and turns the indicator yellow.

Safe to assume I would need an oil change shortly after adding the blue devil?
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
If your oil turns milky from coolant to getting in it then definitely yes. If your oil still is clean, then there’s no reason to change it just because of the blue Devil.

How much space was there between your bump stop and the air spring after install with the weight of the vehicle on the air springs?
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
There is zero space between the bump stop and the airbag. The airbag sits on the bump stop.

One good way to check is to see if there’s air bubbles in your coolant reservoir. Or get a block test kzbin.info/www/bejne/anynlIWhntGcq7Msi=tTMrPURqmxC-nYi9

Great video guys! Super helpful as I'm about to install a universal kit on my 4th gen with Eibach stage 2 Pro Truck Lift. My kit came with same diameter bags but they're an inch taller. So, should I cut the jounce bumper (aka bump stop) per the OEM instructions, or leave an extra inch on them like you guys did? How tight was evrything in the spring once you put the tires back on the ground. If you reply, I'll definitely sub. Looking forward to your answer/recommendation. Thanks in advance gents.
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
How much you cut off depends on how tall springs are vs how tall the bag is. If your bag is 1 inch taller and your springs are 2 inch then you would want to leave one extra inch on the bus stop

@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
I’ve used it on two different vehicles that works great. It all depends on how well you follow directions and how bad the head gasket is. I hope you got your money back since it is guaranteed. This was not a paid video and we have no affiliation with blue Devil.

Depends on how tall the deck system is. We don’t have this truck anymore so I can’t measure it. I’m sure you could easily make a bracket to make it work though.

I think they are stupid for any vehicle. Logically a heavy spot causes imbalance and the bead you would image would go to the heavy spot actually making it even worse.
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
In the right scenario beads actually work really great. They actually do not go to the heavy spot. They go to the lighter spot to balance it out.

Hey guys you should clarify the lift is from the springs. As in if they used the stock springs they would get the 2.75 lift by moving the ring up. They are using lift springs which are meant for the stage two kit.
@TrailBendersOverland2 күн бұрын
The kit was provide by Eibach. The lift spring are correct with these struts on the lowest perch
