Basic technique, can be a starting point but you won't get far. You need to know how your diaphragm works and what both carbon dioxide and nitric oxide do in your body to get worthwhile effects. Unless the point is not effects but talking in this fake "peaceful and spiritual" voice, being friends with ugly, fat and insufferable chicks ranting about crystals, vibrations and destiny and general air of "I looooove me the smell of my own farts" around you. Keep at it, you'll get there one day.

I completely understand the loneliness segment. I can be on my own and be fine and then I go to a event meet people and have a good time and the afterwards none of them contact me and I feel more lonely than I did before the event. Exactly because I make the mistake of expecting them to want to reach out. The idea of being lonely in a crowd also resonates. I will definitely check out the book

What Sadhguru is selling is a form of Kriya Yoga. Kriya means action and Yoga is not twisting of arms and legs. Instead, it is a systematic way to attain enlightenment. To sum up, you can say a systematic way of doing things to enlighten your mind and body. Mostly Kriya Yoga is like choosing food and drinks in a cafeteria. For instance, you pick some asanas that are important to tone your body and increase your endurance and flexibility for longer meditation and calming the mind for deeper states of meditation. And it also involves some pranayama techniques and deeper form of meditation techniques ranging from Mantra meditation to Kundalini Yoga (which is the advanced form of meditation activating energy centers, also known as chakras, in our body). If you follow Sadhguru, it's great. It's like entering a university with clear syllabus and evaluation criteria. It will work. Or you can pick and choose some asanas, pranayama, and meditation techniques based on your body and personality. Obviously, ask for help if you have any doubts in today's world as mostly people are ready to help both online or in person.

A few very important things for people to understand today would be. 1. The world doesn't owe you shit. 2. You are not entiled to respect, respect is earned. 3. Biological reality is NOT subject to your feelings or mental illnesses. 4. Its easy to be a leftist when youre not paying for everything. 5. Free speech is for everyone, not just your echo chamber.

Folks are talking about JKrishnamurti.True, a great teacher but helpful probably to ones who are ripe but if one is just starting out then good luck to you. It's not about who's a great teacher. Its all about who's right for you to meet you where you're at. If I'm a villager in Nepal, Eckhart Tolle isn't the one for me.

No real man should worship another man, especially one who is just like us, flawed and human. If you're truly curious about life and its meaning, it's far more valuable to turn to the works of great philosophers and writers who have honestly confronted their own experiences. Figures like Leo Tolstoy, Albert Camus, and Fyodor Dostoevsky lived through real struggles and openly reflected on the complexities of life. In contrast, blindly following a self-proclaimed godman, who may be a bit more eloquent in English than other so-called spiritual leaders, is misguided. For example, Sadguru was thoroughly debunked by Javed Akhtar, and it's pathetic to see him begging to appear on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Instead of revering such individuals, we should seek wisdom from those who have faced life’s hardships with sincerity and intellectual honesty.

Glad to hear it you synthesize knowledge from multiple sources and reference it to your own inner experience. That's how it should be done in this Aquarian era. The Western spiritual path was fraught with corruption, "it was mostly politics" as you say. Religious dogma has been pushed for nearly 2000 years from "spiritual" authorities that were corrupted by materialism...this was how most of the West experienced spirituality up until recently. Now it is up to individuals to discover their spiritual truth by themselves with a decentralized body of spiritual knowledge and experienced being shared freely and openly in a way that was not possible without the technology and social progression of modern times. Esoteric and arcane knowledge is available to everyone now! The struggle is to keep our hearts open and our minds calm while there are so many easy and tempting forms of distraction and stimulation available to us with this technology. It is a double-edged sword. Sadhguru is a great teacher. Thank you for sharing your experience and perspective with his programs and teachings.

I would like to learn Shambhavi Mudra or Angamardana but I cannot decide between the 2 for the moment 😅 what would you advise ? Have a good day, Alex
