There are some who say that Faddis doesn't play jazz and is only a high note screamer. He's doing both, and well. You were saying....?

I'm so glad my folks played Pete Fountain when I was growing up. I'm 71 now and it still gives me such joy to hear him play ❤

I saw Jack in the early 60's with George Benson, George was 20 at the time. They absolutely slayed it.

Unimaginable on what passes as “television” today. One reason: the general public has zero taste and are stupid. The other: we have technology like this.

I don't like how the guy standing next to him was rushing him and they thought Jack didn't know his music, he sat all of them down, Jack McDuff is the best and he knew all of his music, he had them strategies down. Man on the microphone please don't ever interview people with that nasty attitude, you got on my nerves.

Pete was my idol, as he could play swing, dixieland, pop, all things well. I just wish the audio here was tuned to feature him instead of overpower his softer spots.
