tf is that shit, i played dark souls 1 before this and yeah dark souls 1 is really slow, but this shit just makes you wanna not parry cuz in a fight with multiple enemies you cant do shit

Prime vs prime Vendrick wins Don't think gywn would beat a dude with 4 lord souls and a sword that boost the power by how many souls the wielder has also vendrick killed dragons by himself no help (also vendrick has way more intelligence than gywn)

Meanwhile I spent 1500+ hours to get the platinum from deprived class all the way to NG+4 along with an unnecessary NDNB run with a ladle. Idk why but I must hate myself 😭

I would give strength to vendrick considering he 2 and sometimes even one shots the player that's while he's hollow plus he's not wearing his armor and gwyn had his fire sword plus he was wearing armor

@@The_Big-OG I love the fact that in ds2 it showcases just how powerful humans can become. Every time I watch a yt short talking about the most powerful soulsborne characters they never use ds2 characters and I'm like.....really? We got sir alonne and fume knight who could take on artorias, we have vendrick(in my opinion he could best the gods), and finally we have The Ivory King. No one can come close to beating him in his prime, he's such a chad that his throne faced a pit to hell, he met a fragment of manus and was like dope then proceeded to marry her and in turn she actually became good, had 7 tigers as pets, and was actually a good king. Also ds2 has Aldia a man tree? Thing that lives outside the cycle. Sorry for rambling I just like talking about ds2 since its characters are often unnoticed.

This is arguably the most disliked boss in the game next to Balta(a?)us. If it supercharged itself with Coral at 50% health it would have felt less dickish and more bring it on.

If you use a spear or hallberd and walk closer to the parryed enemy and press the attack button a fey seconds after you parry you repost them while they are standing up

For the new players: knight is op AF. Bandit is good for a pure melee build. Sorcerer is good for sorcerer builds....obviously. deprived is honestly the best pick. It's not hard to play even if it's a first playthrough you'll get a dagger in the first fog wall on the left. To be honest it's almost easier playing deprived in this souls game because leveling cost less and wearing armour at the start is not a good idea.

I agree with picking based on what looks cool, except I did that with my first fromsoft game Elden Ring and thought bandit would be fun. I spent 2 hours dying repeatedly then dominated on another save file immediately.

Elaborate If enemies on route to the door are a problem just kill them until they don't respawn which is I think maybe 11 times?

This video was super helpful. I used myself a superheavy bipedal build, with TALBOT FCS for optimal tracking at low-medium range, VP-20D generator and BST-G2/P06SPD thruster for maximum speed, dual NEBULA plasma shotgun for continued harassment, and dual Stun Needle Launcher for aimed shots when he was still. Hard-locking on, always trying to stay as close as possible, NEBULA continuing firing, but the most important part (a part from evading that damned coral attacks) is to make every double stun needle attack count (like with the Ice Worm). That made the difference.

With hard locking? Man you'll probably find it way easier without that. H.L.O. has an accuracy debuff over standard aiming.

@@thatotherdan9984 I've in the meantime completed all missions and endings, currently S-Ranking all missions. Hard lock while fighting around a fast enemy like CEL 240 is essential. Also, I found out that a lightweight build with dual Zimmerman and dual Stun Needle Launcher works even better... but you have to stay quite close to CEL 240, and hard lock is essential. Also, you're literally glued to him, so it is literally impossible to miss, especially with a good FCS like Talbot and arms with excellent tracking, like Melander C3. Lastly, if you're soft-locking, you get better accuracy only if the target is in the center of the screen, otherwise it gets progressively much worse.

I found 2 embers in the game the one from Forest of the fallen giants and the iron keep jump one. Now iirc I gave both to Mcdruff and he can infuse my weapons already but evetytime I visit him he continues to ramble on about the flame and needing a ember. Is my quest glitched , I can't remember if I gave Forest of Fallen Giants ember to the Majula blacksmith. Oh I grabbed whatever was in the chest and spent the souls needed to get gifts from both smiths
