In this video I go over Armored Core VI's combat, classes, customization, multiplayer, missions, and my overall thoughts and impressions in anticipation for the release of Armored Core VI later this month.
We only have a few weeks left before we play it ourselves and so I wonder, what are you most excited about? Personally, I can't wait to get into multiplayer - this will be my first time playing a Mech genre game believe it or not. I misnamed the leg portion of the mech by stating them as classes - that’s my bad. I got that name from other KZbinrs and assumed it to be correct. Thanks everyone for pointing that out and making me a better commentator in the process! I’ll remember that going forward!

So that bullet hell that you mentioned is actually way more reminiscent of the old armored core games. Like during certain boss fights if your butthole wasn't pucker the entire time you were probably cheating somehow. Cuz some of them old bosses would launch so many missiles that you would have to be literally dodging the entire time I also trying to figure out what the fuck you were supposed to be shooting on them

Yea ac games have been pretty consistent with having really intense fights, but it definitely takes a lot for a player to get to that point in the series to be able to experience it.

@@JustSoulsYouKnow yeah they're they're worth it. After you finish six I will check out four and four answer those are going to be the other easy titles to kind of get into and really see how insane this game got

Legs have a heavy impact on how you play, probably the most fundamental component of a build, but to call it a class just seems like it’s got too much connotation / baggage like you can’t just switch it up on a whim between or even during missions.

Thanks for the video! One downside of hard lock is it prevents you from splitting missile barrages across multiple targets. This can result in wasting a barrage of missiles on a target that dies to the first couple of hits. This matters because the game rewards efficiency in its payout system (ammo use comes out of your paycheck)

Someone said you can hold the missile button, and it will auto spread the missles across the enemys. So, no, the downside is not being able to pick specific enemys it can still spread

@@_Jack-O_ It will auto spread the missiles across enemies that you move over with your crosshair while holding the trigger. If you are hard locked to 1 enemy, you cannot do this

@Sn0wG0lem if you have to move your cross hair then its not auto spread. You can see in the gameplay on the first misson the dude shoots 4 drones down with missles and his camera never unsnaped from the one mt.

@Sn0wG0lem look at 3:40 in the orginal bandainamco gameplay trailer with the hud i shows the dude swaps his camera to a target then yellow bars appear above enemys and he fires and kills 3 drones

if we assume that AC6 will run the entire ACfA logic then you are only plugged into "standard" route which then opens up on NG+ which means you need to redo some missions all over again until you reach a branching path, unless they do the Last Raven routine (which I doubt) so no its not, Nier IE mission on say chapter 2 or chapter 3 opens up or only opens up in chapter 4 after you do a specific sets of mission
